Vrister Mig Fri er en sang om at bryde ud af det, der binder én fast – uanset om det er frygt, forventninger eller indre mønstre. Den kredser om paradokset mellem at blive i det velkendte og at turde træde ind i det ukendte. Et portræt af øjeblikket, hvor stilstand bliver for tung, og man må vriste sig fri for at finde en ny begyndelse.
