We were massive fans of the original and immediately in love with this great remix from fellow Amsterdammers the Pin Up Club.

A mix full of energy and strength. We are presented with a most distinctive and interesting harmony played by the two voices of the synths. The rhythm and pace are a moving mechanism, contagious by its on nature. The influence of the sun, bounded to a masculine feature, leads the mix, crowned by a distorted electric guitar which suspends us in time, as if floating,  with bold and charming sharpness, before the big release that leads to the final crescendo. A crescendo that works its way subtly, so we can’t be fully aware of its advance and comfortably be taken by its driving will.

Repping Cologne and Berlin is Niklas Wandt, Germany’s funkiest drummer and a mixed musical artist as adept in experimental jazz as demen- ted Euro dance. Standing toe to toe in a no holds barred, no drum unstruck groove contest, these two titans will make you swing your pants like a Crash Bandicoot victory dance...so stretch out and step in to ‚Instrumentalmusik von der Mitte der World‘.
Taking to their task with the joyful abandon of two big kids getting creative with the Kindergar- ten music tray, Müller & Wandt marry dripping electronics, Froesean pads and rubber-limbed basslines with tribal polyrhythms, C2 claps and Indonesian shakers - and that‘s only on the A1. The voices were everlasting and echoed with a familiar hum. They were haunting and painful, enchanting yet abhorrent. This was infinity, it was not a happy place but a trip in which bright lights flashed and dancers moved beneath the glowing embers of blackened clouds. It was going to be a dark cold night in the forest and he didn't know whether he'd make it out alive. Yet in the distance he heard a little beaming glimmer of angelic voices, they were abrupt and peaceful, a reminder of what great things lay beyond. 

Leo James is set to release an intriguing psychedelic EP on Patience, a two track outing which wanders and meanders between distant soundscapes and flickering melodies. Beautiful and weird.

Monika Enterprise, founded in 1997, is the home of such exceptional artists as Barbara Morgenstern,  Masha Qrella, Cobra Killer, Michaela Melian, Pilocka Krach, Natalie Beridze, Gudrun Gut, Islaja, Sonae and Monika Werkstatt.
Its not a specific sound, nor a style, we call pop, electronic or indie, which characterizes the label Monika Enterprise generally. Its more the idea of music as a possibilty to express emotional and daily things and to grow with each sound you come to hear, while moving on with the music itself, which have all releases on Monika, in common.
