There have been so many new releases lately, that it has been hard to keep up and so over summer I'm putting together a couple of mega lists of all the new music that I come across. 
It just demonstrates the huge range of electronic music being created, especially as I am already putting together the next playlist.
To listen to it really is the New Eclectic.
As with all the playlists, they are jumping off points to discoveries. They are not meant to be definitive. Just let some of the tracks play onto the next....follow up on "sounds like"....see who's following, many artists follow other artists......

Kern Vol.3 mixed by Objekt

Following contributions by DJ Deep and DJ Hell, Tresor Records are proud to present the third instalment in their Kern mix-series, this time headed by Berlin based producer Objekt, his first release following his 2014 debut album Flatland for PAN. In keeping with the series mission of showcasing a more personal approach to mixing Hertz describes his process as such;

Kern Vol. 3 is made up of tracks that I know I will play and love for years to come. Some of these records have been in my bag for years; others are almost as new to me as they are to you. A handful are by lesser known artists whom I admire and who I think deserve wider recognition. Planned, recorded, embellished, reworked, tweaked and chiselled away at over a period of 6 months, the mix was gradually carved out in a way that makes use of new and old techniques alike, presenting itself primarily as a DJ mix but settling in a sweet spot between live recording and studio trickery. The tracklist spans styles, decades and BPMs in an attempt to craft a mix that’s unpredictable and compelling in equal measure – one that draws from the more adventurous corners of my club sets, but above all, one that’s a pleasure to listen to.

Clocking in at 75min across 36 tracks, Kern Vol. 3 delivers on Objekt's promise, stitching together everything from the playful breakbeats of Beatrice Dillon's "Halfway" to Kirk DiGiorgio's classic techno "Nebula Variation" and the lightspeed IDM of Aleksi Perälä and Ueno Masaaki without missing a beat. A descent through ambient bliss, thundering cello drones and vocal contortions (courtesy of Anna Caragnano, Yair Elazar Glotman and Senyawa's Rully Shabara respectively) give way to the stoned haze of Sensational vs Sotofett and metalwork of Machine Woman and Skarn, rounding up a highly eclectic and adventurous mix which also includes previously unreleased tracks by Bristol's Shanti Celeste, rising Brooklyn producer Via App and accomplished electro technicians Clatterbox and Polzer.

Kern Vol.3 releases on Tresor Records on July 8th.
In usual form the mix CD will be accompanied by two 12"s comprising the exclusives and rarities.

After intense touring ‘Of Desire’ in Europe, Asia and beyond,  The KVB returned to their studio to further immerse themselves in sonic experimentation. The resulting ‘Above Us’ heralds the next chapter in the adopted-Berliners dark, electronic pop development. With waves of synthesisers, flourishes of surf guitar and sequences driving with nervous energy, the tension finally relieves with a surging, euphoric chorus. 

Brighter and more expansive than ever, the track demonstrates the bands growing ability to create sonic journeys, yet retains the atmosphere synonymous with The KVB.

The subtle melodic nuances of Jonathan D. Haskell draw musical inspiration from late night drives lost in the Mulholland hills of after hours Los Angeles. In these quiet moments symphonic landscapes emerge to form the headphone-centric Seven Saturdays.

Seven Saturdays makes you feel as if you're on those late night drives, creating music with delicate keyboards and distant vocals that tug at your heart strings. While recorded in Los Angeles, Seven Saturdays strays from your typical indie rock band. The recordings of Seven Saturdays comprise an impressive list of talented musicians including: Morgan Kibby (M83), Mike Garson (David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins), Wesley Precourt (Dave Stewart, Jenny Lewis), and Eric Heywood (The Pretenders, Ray LaMontagne).

In early 2010, Seven Saturdays released a self-titled EP which Stereogum described as "gripping and mellowly epic" and spent 6 weeks on CMJ's Top 200 Radio charts. Now Haskell is releasing the Secret Things remix EP, which includes a reworked track by Sun Airway that Pitchfork described as "sparkling" (other contributers are: Memoryhouse, White Sea, Teen Daze, Houses and Millionyoung), and a collection of ambient recordings entitled Love In The Time Of Anticipated Defeat, out now on Dynamophone Records.

Monika Enterprise, founded in 1997, is the home of such exceptional artists as Barbara Morgenstern,  Masha Qrella, Cobra Killer, Michaela Melian, Pilocka Krach, Natalie Beridze, Gudrun Gut, Islaja, Sonae and Monika Werkstatt.
Its not a specific sound, nor a style, we call pop, electronic or indie, which characterizes the label Monika Enterprise generally. Its more the idea of music as a possibilty to express emotional and daily things and to grow with each sound you come to hear, while moving on with the music itself, which have all releases on Monika, in common.
