Yungg Budde (Amod’e Xavier Edwards), born July 7, 1988, is an American rapper originally from Pomona, California. Raised in Hollywood, Florida, and later relocating to Phoenix, Arizona, Yungg Budde’s upbringing across both the South and West Coast shaped his unique sound and perspective.

Growing up with a single mother who constantly filled the home with classic records and tapes, music became a natural part of his life. Inspired by the diversity and emotion it carried, he developed a deep love for the art form at an early age. By 15, he began writing and rapping alongside his cousin, turning a pastime into a passion. Within just a few years, his dedication solidified—he knew music was not just something he enjoyed, but the path he was meant to pursue.
