Established in 2016, Sans Absence is a London-based label run by DJ and Producer Akito.

'Leftfield Avenue' is a producer/dj act from Budapest, Hungary who defies categorization. 

The duo is many things: DJ, music producer, classical pianist, event promoter, arts expert and a central figure at Asia's blooming nightlife scene.

Though their taste is anchored by many different genres of dance music from the 80's and the 90's, the guys musical knowledge touches on many genres and most corners of the world, from South Africa to Germany to Japan. 

It's hard to say what ties their tastes together, but perhaps it's their love for music that's soulful, whether it was crafted with a piano or a drum machine.

The duo's distinct and colorful sound now find them in a constant rotation of both hemispheres, spending most of the year based in Shanghai, China.

The guy's repertoire are made with a palpable passion and cover a cultured cross section of essentials from house and disco to world music and techno. 

The music they serve up comes from a place of love and knowledge in equal measure - there are no cheap thrills with 'Leftfield Avenue', just pure musical joy.

Tank's Legacy already ranks him as a leading player in Indie dance music culture. His rise to the forefront has been more than just gigs and remixes his contribution to the scene via his label Planet Acetate Records means he has become a name synonymous with music.

The last few years Tank has made appearances at the Love Parade, Ministry of Sound and Fabric in-between managing Planet Acetate Records and their string of hit releases from artists across the globe.

As a producer, Tank has built a reputation for outstanding releases such as ‘jacked’, 'Never Enough', 'Serious', 'Him_Self_Her - Lost at Love Before' Remix & 'Break My Heart' as SlimPhatty with partner in crime James Starkie.

All in all, it's been a BIG journey for Tank, pioneering a sound and attitude that's gained respect from fans and industry people alike hungry for the integrity that Tank delivers.


Nic Fanciulli has become one of the most influential artists to come out of the international dance scene in several years. With so many projects constantly in the works, Fanciulli stands out as a truly multitalented worldwide artist, with this perhaps being the key to his longevity in an increasingly fast-paced industry.
 
Fanciulli’s kept up a big Ibiza presence over the years, becoming one of the most respected figures on the island. Following on from two successful years running ‘La Familia’ at infamous 5000 capacity outdoor venue Ushuaia alongside Joris Voorn, 2016 saw Nic embark on his first solo residency at the iconic Pacha. ‘We Are The Night’ saw the likes of Guy Gerber, Sasha, Bicep, Agoria, Matthew Dear and Tiga play at the club alongside Nic. Having conquered Ibiza, We Are The Night has also held parties in Croatia, Barcelona, Miami, New York and Mexico with many more to come. Aside from Nic’s own projects, he’s a regular of all the key parties on the island. He’s been a headline guest at ANTS - Ushuaia’s flagship underground party - since its inception, and also put in appearances at respected residencies Paradise, Guy Gerber’s RUMORS, Circo Loco at DC10 and INSANE at Pacha over the last year alone. Most notably, he played a major part in the last season of one of Ibiza’s best-loved clubs, Space; firstly, playing the closing of its longest-running party, Carl Cox’s Revolution, and then proceeding to make history playing the final set at the club’s last ever closing party, in an incendiary six hour back to back session with Carl himself.

As a producer, Nic has created a plethora of solo tracks that have received huge critical acclaim including a Grammy Nomination, in addition to unleashing a heady collection of memorable remixes, including his recent rework of Jamie xx’s ‘SeeSaw’. Nic is responsible for a high output of a sleek, intelligent yet driving strain of house and techno, and is famed for his compilation CDs, having completed mixes for Renaissance, Global Underground, Balance and Defected In the House as well as an incredible three Essential Mixes; he is now gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated debut album.

Nic’s genuine desire to share music with others led to him founding what’s gone on to be one of the UK’s biggest house and techno labels, Saved Records. An important purveyor of international, underground house and techno, Saved has become a global brand, renowned for cutting-edge releases and standout events around the globe. Responsible for helping to break the careers of a diverse mix of producers, Saved Records has established Nic as a key tastemaker.

It’s this continued desire to share his experiences that also led to Nic starting up his worldwide festival brand, The Social. Beginning life as a way of bringing world-class names to Maidestone, it’s grown not only from a one day event to a three day festival, but will now also be branching out to hold parties in Mexico and Columbia for 2017 and looks set to continue growing.
 
Nic’s journey to his current status has been an entirely organic one, born out of his genuine love for the scene and a desire to share this with others. His tireless work ethic has sees him continue to tour the globe relentlessly and expanding his many projects – 2021 is set to be yet another landmark year for the artist.

Dave is dedicated to musical integrity, through good quality, Deep Underground House Music, Techno and Cutting Edge Dance Music. Occasionally adding select genre’s and styles, like Nu Disco and IndieDance, with deeper and grittier sounding vibes, which he brings to his audiences for both The Uncut Connection Internet Radio shows and his Shudderfunk parties.

Dave gave birth to The Uncut Connection which evolved from FootTherapy, who were DJ duo Dave Simpson and Gary Welch, when they hosted their weekly Internet Radio Show The Underground Solution and their Gutterfunk monthly parties 

During their growth as FootTherapy, they were proud to have had the pleasure to display the talents of many World renowned, UK and International underground DJs, artists and acts.
These guests were specially handpicked by Dave and Gary (FootTherapy) for their involvement and commitment to the underground vibe, sound and scene. Their relentless approach to creating a one stop shop for good quality, meant their show and parties rapidly became a who’s who of what was happening on the scene at the time. 
During these years, although many of these guests were still mostly unknown, all of them already had deep rooted careers and influence in both the underground (and some in the mainstream) scenes of Underground House Music and Techno. 
These guests included the likes of, Asad Rizvi, Brett Johnson (Texas), Grant Dell, Rob Mello, DJ Vectif (Prague), D’Julz (Paris), Big Hair, Gideon Jackson, Tom Gillieron, Eddie Richards, Rhythm Plate, Dan Ghenacia (Paris), Tim Red, Luke Vb, Mr C, Mark Dale, Ravi McArthur, Household Recordings, Mike Surreal, Jane Fitz, Loft Recordings, Tempo ONeil, Nathan Coles, Nils Hess, Pash Ostovar, Dave Mothersole, Demarkus Lewis, Inland Knights, Chris Duckenfield, Jon Marsh, Liz Edwards, Stefan Goldman, Milton Jackson and Pure Science to name but a few.

Not long after their peak in 2006 and after a short break of fusing ideas, re tweaking of levels, and slight shifts of roles for Dave and Gary, Dave returned with the UncutConnection Live Internet Radio Shows and Shudderfunk parties to secret venues, and continues spreading the sound of cutting edge dance music again, whilst Gary continues to have an involvement, but from behind the scenes.

Although the sound has become much more easily available to the masses through the advancement of technology, media and fashion, and also as a result of this and normal evolution of attitudes, the sound has also become sub genre’d, renamed and in some cases misunderstood and represented, but The Uncut Connection’s underlying dedication to Integrity and good quality remains the same as it always was before. 
Whilst adding some select genre’s and styles to the overall presentation like Nu Disco and IndieDance which is a slower, sometimes darker edged and trippier electronic music, their foundations remain firmly footed within the deeper and grittier sounding vibes from House and Techno music, for both the internet radio show and their Shudderfunk Parties. 

Dave continues to be almost spiritually committed to the vibe, with an open ear on the pulse of the sound, and with an unquenchable thirst and desire to continue to smash down the boundaries of formulaic music and common routine.
