"I Feel Good" is the first single off the upcoming debut album from Traces of Blue. TOB is an a cappella group that finished fourth on NBC's "The Sing-Off," performing as "Afro-Blue." Since their successful run on the show, the group has performed in venues from New York to Jamaica and experienced such honors as performing for Vice President Joe Biden. Their jazz-based musical style has allowed them to lend their signature sound to genres such as R&B, pop, hip-hop, gospel, funk and countless others. Whether dishing out a jazz standard in their dazzlingly reminiscent fashion or putting a flavorful spin on a modern hit, TOB provides quality music through its adventurous arrangements with charisma and charm to spare. Though newly formed, their polish and style is comparable to that of a group of seasoned professionals.

After the dynamo sophomore release that was 2013's "Curiosities", New Zealand's Lord Echo returns to Brooklyn's Bastard Jazz label, this time producing Kiwi trio The Elder Statesman comprised of twin brothers and Wellington fixtures Christopher (piano) and Daniel (double bass) Yeabsley with Lord Echo himself on percussion and drums. 

On the "A" side, Montreux Sunrise is mellow meander through a laidback early 70s souljazz vibes, while "Trans Alpine Express" picks things up on the B side with a deep, spiritual piano groove, upfront doublebass, and Echo's percussion perfectly in the pocket.

74 MILES AWAY is a collaboration between producer duo MonkeyRobot, jazz pianist/composer Pierre Anckaert and flutist Stefan Bracaval. They’ll take you on a trip from the era of Bob James, Weather Report and Herbie Hancock, 80’s boogie to the future beat sound of today. Heavy analogue synth action and deep Moog basslines are omnipresent, keeping the lush Fender Rhodes sound in balance.

74 MILES AWAY’s first eponymous album was released on Melting Pot Music (2011) and featured collaborations with AHU, Miles Bonny & Carina Andersson (4 Hero). A first single from this album Same Dream Again was released on the infamous London-based label Brownswood.

Early 2013 this Belgian combo hit the studio again which resulted in this 8-track, fully instrumental album, powered by our longtime partners at Laid Back.
Eager to play and please, the band puts emphasis on their energetic live shows. And they are a real treat at the bar too, by the way.
