Tanzgemeinschaft wants to stand for quality music. We do not look for just music but want memorable experiences. One can judge differently, but the slightest part in a track can cause great euphoria.

We welcome Italian talent Stephen K Cal (@stephenkcal) to the label with his great "Sweet Offender" release, backed by the versatile EILLOM (@eillommusic). Three tracks each with a slightly different touch and feel.

Kicking off with "Sweet Offender" which is a soulful deep house track with blissful and soulful pad melodies and wobbly bassline. A smooth operator at work unveiling a flowing groove.

"Feel like I feel" is a fantastic catchy summer groove. We believe this is an intoxicating melody that will make your body move. Very atmospheric electronics with a vocal sample around an elastic deep house groove.

Moving on to a more house feel with "Silly Wagon" on which Stephen heads in slightly oriental direction. Deep warm bass and lush vocals will take care of the heat. Sweet sweet summer is here to stay.

EILLOM turns "Sweet Offender" upside down and created a different groove using a more minimal approach. It's what we love at Tanzgemeinschaft. Leaving the creativity for the artist to head into a different direction.

Maceo Plex is back on his own Ellum Audio with huge statement single ‘Nu World’.

Maceo Plex has fomented his own singular sound in the last few years. His unique brand of techno has always been melodic, adventurous, and epic - the sort of sounds that can unite the vast crowds he plays to all over the world. He has nurtured artists with similar mindsets on his label but now takes the reins himself and is in typically fine form.

The excellent ‘Nu World’ is a rousing single that will sweep anyone off their feet. The strident drums, the big vocal cries and the emotional synths all add up to a mesmerising, hands in the air anthem that will appeal to electronic music lovers across the board. Add in the rugged bass and smart synth effects and the results are truly irresistible.

This is another landmark track from the ever impressive Maceo Plex with all proceeds from this release going to ACLU to fight voter suppression.

Brussels-based Karo V. (@djelorac) is back with a full EP after a fantastic debut on our VA compilation. This time around she brings us 2 downtempo / organic house tracks.

With "Aline On The Road" we enter a world of melancholia. Opening with piano and the beautiful sound of rainfall after which she takes us on a fantastic exploration. Throughout the track, she takes a sharp left and moves up the pace a bit. Weary minds can ease up with this warm subtle groove & blissful deepness.

‘Summer Memories" feel electric. It doesn't leave the path of melancholia. Electro at the start, heavy bass but such a warm feeling.

We asked Adrian Roman, known for his mature and melodic style to create an interpretation of "Summer Memories". And so, he did. Het created a sublime journey in which he surely expresses his musical taste and acknowledges what we know him for: creating masterpieces.

A global talent whose music has far surpassed the borders of his hometown of Newcastle, Cristoph’s high-powered productions have seen support from the likes of Pete Tong, Eric Prydz, Hot Since 82, Sasha, Camelphat and Denis Sulta. Having released on a range of heavyweight labels including Pryda Present’s and Knee Deep In Sound, Cristoph now makes his debut on London tastemaker label Anjunadeep.

An assertive club-track that blends the progressive and deep house worlds, ‘Big H 2020’ is a revamp of Cristoph’s 2013 release ‘Big H’. Whilst reminiscent of tracks from label acts such as Yotto and Tinlicker in its dark vocal cuts and rolling drums, ‘Big H 2020’ also showcases Cristoph’s penchant for captivating songwriting in its infectious piano hook. Speaking on his songwriting process, Cristoph explains:

“I like my music to have this driving nature paired with an emotional breakdown to build up and come out of. It’s what I remember classic progressive house was like with regards to artists like Sasha and Digweed. I was just a young kid listening to their stuff and that’s exactly what I’m trying to deliver with my work.”

This classic progressive house affinity has seen Cristoph create some of the biggest dance hits of past years, including 2019 single ‘Breathe’, which has since accumulated 58M streams on Spotify, and inspired a slew of remixes. Fittingly, ‘Big H 2020’ looks to continue this trend whilst simultaneously paying homage to Cristoph’s father: 

“Big H was what I used to call my Dad. He was my hero in life and my best mate. We had a plan to break into the ‘DJ world’ and hopefully tour the world. Unfortunately, he’s not here to see me continuing to try and reach that today. With it being his 5 year anniversary this year I just thought it would be nice to revamp the original so it would fit into my sets etc a lot better.”

Sometimes, when making a remix, I build an entirely new track, but the original of „Desire“ was already so colorful, that all I had to do was bring out those deep elements, highlight the simplistic yet powerful chords and add a few touches of my own.

The past few years saw the brothers swinging to new trees, retiring their previous labels to focus on their new label 'Hommage.' It were the years of transformation for the German producers, developing and tailoring a sound suited perfectly for the unique club nuances while still keeping the core elements of melodic chords and grooves synonymous with the duos productions. 

During this time, Monkey Safari unveiled their remix for Marc Houle’s “Pepper” on Richie Hawtin’s label Minus and their hugely successful “Cranes” and “Walls“ EPs that presented opportunities for Monkey Safari to work with some exciting musicians, such as Wolf + Lamb and Kölsch, techno heavy weights Guy Gerber and Josh Wink, as well as one of dance music’s most iconic producers, Moby. 

Monkey Safari remixed a track for Moby & The Void Pacific Choir, returning the favor after Moby’s successful rework of the duo’s track “Walls” last year. Their next releases continued in the same fashion, featuring remixes from Paco Osuna, Chloé, John Digweed & Nick Muir, UNER, Guy Mantzur, Victor Ruiz and more, while signing tracks from amazing Blond:ish, legendary John Tajada, and others on their Hommage imprint. 

The duo’s efforts in the studio have transcended to their DJ sets with stand out shows at Time Warp and Awakenings Festival. On top of a heavy touring schedule at world renowned clubs and headlining slots at festivals, the duo released their album ‘Odyssey’. Monkey Safari produced the same kind of tracks for this album they were playing as they toured nightclubs and festivals around the world, rather than simply a listening album. 

In 2018 Monkey Safari carefully handpicked remixers they saw as most capable of continuing their vision for the album. The ‘Odyssey Remixes’ featured reworks of the original album tracks by the master himself, Carl Cox, international stars Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Musumeci, Tensnake and Reboot, studio geniuses Dubspeeka, Hannes Bieger, ROD, and Phil Moffa, as well as up-and-coming talent Avidus and Trivmph . 

Monkey Safari’s third album comes in perfect time for the summer sunshine of 2019. The duo follow up their last album, ‘Odyssey’, with this warm, inviting collection of music designed to brighten your day and complement the glorious sunny days that bless us during the summer. Sven and Lars learned some valuable lessons from their last long-player, and the new album ‘HI’ comes from a far more relaxed, easy-going place. An organic project that came together quite naturally, their third album sees the duo in high spirits ready to bring a large dose of positive vibes and emotional depth to the party. 

2020 and 2021 sees Monkey Safari moving closer to legendary brands Get Physical and Anjuna Deep, starting with a remix and a multitude of EPs on the labels. Watch out for more news soon! 

The German outfit has been on an incredible run of form with promising developments in all of their endeavors and exciting news still to come.
