Week 85 of my project to write, produce and release 1 song per week. It's pretty simple. Work has drained me. The 9 to 5 always manages to become 9 to the rest of my night. I'm gonna lose my mind in an email someday!

I might always be crazy to you. Control your emotions. Suppress your emotions. Do you not see the difference? I might always be crazy to you. I’m tired of being seen as crazy, as a wild woman. The girl who has one to therapy for borderline. I can’t be that person to the one I love. Don’t you see how crucial it is to me? How it might suffocate us, this view you have of me when we fight? You prescribe this view, telling me who I am and I am so sick of it. It hurts too much to hear you tell me who you think I am.

Week 92 of writing, producing and releasing 1 song per week. This one is interesting to me, I loved the verse, found something in it but I feel like the song itself hasn't reached its full potential. One of those I feel I can keep exploring <3

Cynical might get you far. Ignorant might take you up. Though cynical and ignorant might be easier an artifice, I'll tell you now it’s a thief to meaning. 

Empathy might hurt sometimes. Love might show you the world is in pain. But empathy and love, it comes straight from the vain. 

I don’t want to live without a shadow of doubt. I don’t want to live an unexamined life. We’ve never been in the same place before. Time to turn and face the changes.

Wanted so much more for this week's song but didn't make time for it before I woke up on Saturday with a sore throat. I might go back to it when I feel healthy again.

Week 100 and song 100! I can't believe it's here. I knew I was going to feel like I wanted it to be more than I could put into one song. What I didn't know was that the time leading up to week 100 would be one where I could not sing for the better part of 2 weeks. I want to do gang vocals on it. I want to sharpen up the guitars and timing but... but... stuff gets in the way and that might be the whole point. I kept at this, even with all the stuff that got in the way. So here's to 100 weeks!
