Glowing Embers

Flow of Thoughts is a Francesco Adornetto’s solo piano piece that captures the essence of moving thoughts, evoking a sense of nostalgia. The notes intertwine in a continuous flow, similar to a stream gently flowing through a landscape of memories.

The melody begins with sweet and melancholic tones, evoking images of past moments. The rhythm is delicate yet steady, akin to a thought that gradually develops. The harmonies are rich and complex, adding emotional depth and a sense of introspection.

As the piece progresses, the intensity grows, reflecting the energy of a stream of thoughts that becomes increasingly lively and turbulent. Fast and arpeggiated passages convey a sense of urgency, as if memories and reflections are emerging with force.

Towards the conclusion, the music returns to a reflective calm, closing the circle and bringing the listener back to a state of peaceful contemplation. "Flow of Thoughts" is an emotional journey, a musical meditation on the thoughts and feelings that surface from the depths of the mind, offering an immersive and touching experience.

Hope you enjoy this bit of Christmas. I don't know how it will make you feel, as it is not a traditional arrangement. I just performed the song how I felt. Maybe it will find a place in your heart. There's a lot of artifice in the emotions of Christmas which I wanted to cut through. Minimalism seemed the key, and an improvised guitar on top of the vocal was all I felt it needed to be true to the feeling of the song and the sentiment of the season. I truly wish everyone a merry Christmas, even those who do not recognize the holiday, because I feel that the heart of the season lies in good will and peace and rest and reflection for people all over. Not in any particular religious belief. So, again, have a merry Christmas, and please have a wonderful, productive new year :)
