Explorations in Analog Synthesis, Volume II is a new seven-song EP created to demonstrate the powerful analog sound and sonic possibilities Moog Sound Studio offers. Each track was built around the Moog Mother-32, DFAM, and Subharmonicon included in each artist’s Moog Sound Studio, allowing for unique and fully developed tracks.

Following up on 2021’s ORDER, Anglo-Australian EBM/Synth-Punk project delivers a 3-track statement, a preview of intent and a sonic flag-planting PSYOP, guiding the masses to anticipate next year’s full length LP, TOMORROW’S DREAM. Taken from a body of work stretching over 2-years of writing and touring various scenes around the UK and Europe, these tracks have been tactically chosen to put the listener in the crosshairs. Their raw, infectious and unadulterated sound gets under the skin and we're excited to bring you the first track of the EP today, "Heaven's Gate".

With a fleshy mix of acid and electro cuts from Sync 24, Privacy, Luke Eargoggle, Etcher and -=UHU=-, Berlin’s longstanding machine-driven music collective, Mechatronica, forcefully unites the classic and new sound on their first record release. 

A first-ever collaboration between established electro commanders Luke Eargoggle and Sync 24 opens the record in toxic floor burner fashion, followed by a cold and tightly programmed electro journey by -=UHU=-, blending the mechanic and the monotone in a comment on today’s relationship between machine and man. 

Building on strong previous releases with Lobster Theremin and Klasse Wrecks, Privacy kicks off the flip and takes the tempo down with a booming, melodic electro cut, followed by a funky acid workout by Etcher featuring his signature bubbly basslines and soothing synths.

 Kim Rapatti started the DUM Records label in Helsinki, Finland in the early 1990's. Along with the Sähkö Recordings label from Helsinki which began releasing material around the same time, Dum Records helped define a trademark Finnish minimal techno sound which quickly attracted fans from around the world. This sound grew out of a love for analog gear and a stark minimal production style. After a long hiatus DUM Records is back 2015.
