Ākāsagata is Avsluta’s second solo release that materialised over the past two years in the flux of coming in and out of moments of inspiration and creative flow. This time allowed for a deeper dive into the ever shifting inspirations behind Avsluta’s creative output and finding a way to sculpt new material with these elements in mind. 

She merges influences from tribal-infused ambient, percussive downtempo and the deeper, hazier shades of electronica to conjure up an imaginative hypnotising world of her own. 

Complimenting the three original tracks are two remixes by Primal Code and Saphileaum, the artists that have been a long-standing source of inspiration for Lucie and that are bringing a more energetic, dancier pace into the mix.

It is a great pleasure to finally be able to share with you this special release with sounds from four of the most wonderful creative minds of our time, a release that we have been working hard on for a long time.

Avsluta - Ākāsagata (Incl Saphileaum & Primal Code Interpretations)(ST046)

Multi-media mystic Andro Gogibedashvili aka Saphileaum expands his ‘spherical ambient’ lexicon into increasingly celestial terrain on his newest creation Ganbane,  inspired by visions of galactical oases, sparkling starscapes, and elemental serenity. 

Ganbana takes its title from a Georgian word for ‘cleansed by water,’ which aptly characterizes the album’s six liquid-tribal compositions. Rolling oceans of hand percussion flow below soothing swells of electronics, streaked with ocarina, insects, and sitar. Snippets of mantric voice occasionally cut through the devotional trance but otherwise Saphileaum’s world is one of solitude and ascent, attuned to a time and space outside our own, where ‘a second is a century, and a century a second, as the waterfall of cosmic nectar is poured over your being’.

Our pick from Ganbana is the percussion-saturated Nearby the Golden Lake, a tribal hypnotic piece exploring the sacred and universal parts of our world.

Konduku (@kondukukonduku) returns to the Delsin Mantis series with an exciting double pack (Mantis 09 + 10) which dives deeper into his remarkable fractured rhythms and light-touch synthesis. Over the course of nine tracks Ruben Üvez straddles the space between introspective headphone trips and hypnotising dancefloor elegance, operating in a liminal zone of fluid tempos, submerged atmospheres and pointillist beats. It's an open-ended but clear-sighted approach that aligns perfectly with the direction of the Mantis series.

Mantis 10 opens up with the circular electronica of 'Trail', masking the start and end points of the groove with the kind of polymetric construction Üvez has made his name with. The pattern continues through the displaced, dubby experimentation of 'Lust' before the more sharply defined transcendental tone of 'Lavender' cuts through the fog. 'Dalgin' rides its pattering percussion on a minimalist D&B growl, setting the scene for the dislocated, avant-darkside closer 'Helles’.

The next addition to Konstrukt's catalog comes from Shoal and his Konstrukt 016 EP, a release that includes three improvised tracks that were composed during the MONOLITH live show at Moving Arts Centre Amsterdam in collaboration with visual artist Vincent Rang. From those, we are happy to present Mo-III, a creation that highlights the character of this performance as it gives the feeling of a transformation process from the void to the natural, material state. In an attempt to conjure the very essence of reality within this live composition, slow drifts and abstract hues are complementing this morphing through sound-and-vision concept. Formulating an initially abstract entity, Shoal takes us on a trip over an immensely alluring atmosphere, as he projects a portion of his artistic depths and his ability to sonically envision organic, ever-morphing images from nature.

Monument premieres the track "Mo-III", which will be released on the 3rd of November.

We imagine this VA as a continuous story, exploring different styles from drum and bass to techno, with a care on sound design and psychedelia.

Last track from Milan based Atoloi “Verde Serpente” focuses on fast synth arpeggios and shifted percussions giving the listener a real psychedelic experience.

BLNDR's latest track, '1080°', is an outstanding showcase of the producer's technical prowess and creative vision. The fast-paced percussions, metallic hi-hats, and breakbeat kick drum create a sense of urgency and energy that propels the track forward. However, what sets '1080°' apart is the delicate balance it strikes between these intense elements and more subtle, warm pads and lush vocals that add depth and texture to the track. The result is a captivating listening experience that is both engaging and emotionally resonant.

'1080°' would be a perfect fit for a sunrise set in the forest. The track's dynamic and intricate soundscapes capture the sense of renewal and possibility that comes with a new day.
