SIBELIUM was founded in 2009 in Barcelona by Max and Guiliem, two producers with a deep passion for electronic music. They began by mixing vinyl and playing Frenchcore, Hardtek, and Drum'n'Bass at free parties around Catalonia. Over time, they invested in a small sound system to host their own events, further fueling their love for music.

By late 2011, they decided to shift their focus towards producing music. Max was the first to dive into software and sequencers, and soon after, Guiliem joined in, drawing on his background in drums, clarinet, and piano.

In 2012, they decided to take their music careers more seriously, aiming to deepen their understanding of music production and everything that comes with it. Since then, SIBELIUM has evolved into a significant project that explores the most experimental sides of Bass Culture.

Today, the project is led by Guiliem Sibelium, who continues to push the boundaries of the genre, creating unique tracks as a solo artist as well.
