Welcome to an aquatic exploration of sound. This new series of EPs invites you to a sonic immersion of different aquatic environments of the world through dub and deep techno as well as break.

For this first release, Boskøw, Martinou, Upwellings and Artos Eleven take us on a poetic and modern adventure of the Mediterranean.

Boskøw starts us off in Samena, a neighbourhood in the Calanque park of Marseille. A precious moment of introspection in the early morning, listening to the waves and voices of the Phocean city.

Leaving the rocky coast of Marseille, Reef Surveyor by Upwelling takes you on a boat ride to watch over the local marine ecosystem. Its faster rhythm conveys the challenge this entails with the increasing impact of climate change.

After a long day out at sea, Martinou’s Anemone sways smoothly with the sea current, interjected by small skanks shining through like rays of light at sunset. However, don’t be fooled - Martinou’s deep layers will slowly take over and entrance you.

Artos Eleven's Baliste evokes a nocturnal excursion between sand and rock. Named after the Mediterranean Triggerfish, its broken rhythms and deep water skanks will bite, leaving you wanting more.

Wa Wu We is new label and artist alias from Sebastian Mullaert (aka Minilogue); meditation, improvisation and dance are key words.

Last night I had a dream about mars. And since I am the moon just by being a female spirit and mars is in conjunction with the moon just today I felt it was needed to release the shadow that I dragged out from my soul on hunters full moon in october. It´s been hunting me evre since trying to get a grip again but that shall not happen.

With this I ask all shadows, bad omens, dark spells, impure deeds, bad intentions and entities to leave my realms.

Hello there. For the 37th episode of the series, I introduce you to Koen Hoets with a deep and immersive exploration of sound. Here are his words :

« Still exploring the way I want to present my ideas for ambient music that can trigger our synesthesia sense but then In a more imaginary way. Having experienced this a few times at some interesting nights, I would really like to share my thoughts on that to listeners so they can maybe get the same experience. 

Playing with a thin line between low tempo dubby sounds and the more darker ambient lines, I want to create a tension. In some parts of the set you will emerge in deep thought while some subtle shifts of direction in sound can give a feeling of distraction which is meant to lead you to a more deeper form of listening. 

I am also preparing something special for the Moroccan festival "Under the desert stars" this summer. »

Here comes a record that has been on my mind forever. 'The Sunset Dancers'. It takes inspiration from different situations and parts of my life and paints a picture in vivid hazy colors.

The album name comes from track number two 'Sunset Dancer' which is a very special track to me. Imagine you see this person who are just dancing in eternity forever for him or herself on a dreamy beach in something that resembles somekind of martial arts.

It took years to decide over how this should be and i still dont think it's really finished, art never really is...
