"Onda" is something of a lazy sunshine classic; a perfect example of laidback Brazilian jazz-funk that blends a samba sensibility with distinct soul, funk and disco influences. The original single by Brazilian composer-turned-artist Genival Cassiano dos Santos, has long been an in-demand item for Disco and Balearic DJs. 

For this edit we worked with our Brazillian pals Fatnotronic adding some extra percussion, an acid line, and some new textures to the already awesome original.

It first appeared on our "Stir It Up" mixtape and Fatnotronic's Diplo & Friends BBC Radio1 mix. Soon it will see a vinyl release on Chit Chat's "Brazilian Edits" series Volume 1. Available October 2014 via Chit Chat Records.

Elemental Vol. 1 moves through earth, air, fire, and water not as metaphors but as emotional states. The songs drift like weather systems, mixing tenderness with atmosphere - acoustic guitars and field-warm vocals meeting the pulse of understated techno rhythms. The production is deliberately porous: wood and wire breathing alongside soft synths and spectral drum-machine traces. It's an "acoustic techno" album in the sense that rhythm and resonance share the same dirt. The songs carry the physical textures of wind in rafters, gravel underfoot, or rain on a roof, yet they shimmer with digital light. This meeting of folk intimacy and electronic timbres gives the album its peculiar gravity - part back-porch confession, part after-hours heartbeat.

Lyrically, Elemental Vol. 1 abandons conventional pop architecture. Instead of verse–chorus–bridge repetition, each piece unfolds as a field poem - free-form, continuous, and responsive to its own inner weather. The writing treats structure as tide rather than grid: refrains return when they need to, not when they're told to. This openness lets the language breathe in sync with the natural imagery that drives it - storms, light, stone, silence - and invites listeners to inhabit the songs as evolving spaces rather than predictable forms. Across the various mixes of its six song poems - We Learn the Sky, Don't Sightsee This Heart, Be a Storm in Me, Til the Heat Is Gone, You Happen Like Weather, and Wild Gifts - the album traces the cycles of intimacy and impermanence, finding in their motion the same quiet power that turns seasons, wheels, and hearts.

At this time of year it is important to allow for family. Making time was the name of the game as he rolled up the driveway of the manor house. The trees blew hazily in the wind as snow fell slowly from the sky above. As he looked towards his home he let out a deep sigh because he knew he never had to return to a place of hardship quite like where he had come from. The war was over, freedom could begin and boy was it set to be luxurious and bliss. 

Phil Gerus is the next artist to appear on Tensnake's True Romance label. He delivers a collection of sweltering party cuts across the course of the EP.

A collection of fresh "made-in-italy" house and the first journey with our new “Piada Spaceship”, we are pleased to welcome this bunch of astronauts that made this 12” a versatile tool for every kind of dance floor. 
Yougrent, with his hypnotic and full dreamy track (don’t give us a chance!), the Hill’s "Short Track" which embraces MPC beats and a 303-like evolving bass, alongside the collaboration between our men Dj Rou and Opponent, who build their “Afrowalk” on a never-ending jazzy loop; 
on B side you can find the dirty bass driven by Tengrams that make the things more raw, the closing track is from Luckyfeels which creates a fresh house track on a 90’s piano.
They have accepted to get on board with us without to know where we are going and what we will find at the final destination, what we know so far is that they are delightful dance music producers and good vibes addicted.
