I made a really personal mix in the purpose to exalt a style i growth in time and shared with friends from Prologue & Sonic Groove;
Dark, hypnotic, call it as you want, for me it’s just my world, my way to be and to live the music.
The mixing technique used is a “Hybrid”, as I like to call it, between dj set and Live; I have been playing a Clavia Nord Mdular G2 and a Jomox Mbase 01 kick to make bridges across tracks;

Rob Hes has been a busy man… In the six months since the Dutch artist last flexed his tools of the trade on
SCI+TEC he’s dented discographies with slick physical grooves on KD Raw, Elevate, Tronic and My Favourite
Freaks. For good reason; he’s cooking up some high grade techno right now.
Now back on Dubfire’s imprint, it’s yet another late night crusade into the unknown. ‘Skin Deep’ sets the scene
with a soaring hook that rises and rises relentlessly, constantly mutating to create an ultimately psychedelic
effect. A classic gear-shifter; energy and intensity levels are guaranteed to raise several levels when you drop
this.
‘The Interview’ flips Rob’s sonic coin for a much creepier saga. After the smouldering, tripped-out intro, we’re hit
with a mutant acid arpeggio that stalks amid a heavily stretched humanoid texture before melting into a
breakdown of mind-melting proportions. True dark room dynamite.
Two more critical constructions from a consistently on-point man who’s fast-becoming a regular on the
SCI+TEC rollcall. Who knows how many other discographies or playlists he’ll dent before he returns again?

When one googles the word "Wonky," a slew of dictionary definitions arise---crooked, off-center, askew, faulty, not functioning 'correctly'---these terms barely scratch the surface of what Netherlands-based producer @FritsWentink, and his impressive and relatively young label, @Bobby-Donny have to offer the dance community. Wonky is the first word that comes to mind with every release Frits unveils (spanning back to his remarkably prolific 2015), and his newest cut, closing out from Bristol stomper Scissorwork's newest EP, is no different.

BODO005, including two new cuts from @Scissorwork is yet another striking addition to the ever-expanding world of lo-fi shufflers. Today, we premiere the release's final track, a remix of B-side 'Moonlight Boys Choir' from Wentink. Frits takes the glistening roller of an original, and....well, he wonks it right up. Bringing the tempo down marginally, Wentink throws around a hefty, chugging rhythm to kick off his version; a throbbing signal pulses through the mix, reverberating out and in, as pinprick samples and melodies are interwoven atop frequently phasing percussion. As layers upon layers of fuzz periodically lift and are reapplied to the mix, it feels as if the track's multitude of elements are being submerged underwater in real time, unable to lift their heads out for even a brief moment to take a breath.

Wentink's rendition feels brittle, like it needs to be handled with great care to hold its delicate parts together; however, there's an undeniable energy that exudes from the apparently visible seams holding it together. As tones and chords squelch out from behind what feels like a concrete wall, moments of true grit and funk seep through, allowing those paying close enough attention to find meaningful passages from beginning to end. While Frits' take on 'Moonlight Boys Choir' may not serve a peak-time release, it's more than capable of lighting the path to follow, down a weird and winding (and wonky) road.

Aimée Portioli also known as Grand River, is a Dutch-Italian composer, musician, producer based in Berlin. 

While mainly connected to the fields of electronic music and sound design, her compositions transcend these genres. Her background counts years of traditional music composing and the study of several musical instruments. 

She worked as sound engineer and composer for a national radio station in Italy (Radio 24) and for several post production companies through her sound agency TapTempo studio. Her work is known equally for her film scores as for her experimental and ambient projects. Influenced by classical minimal music Grand River’s work integrates a large variety of sound structures and symphonic calculations, often blurring the lines between traditional composition and research-based modernism. 

In 2016 she created One Instrument releasing sound experiments from different artists composing pieces by using only one instrument of their choice.

Techno hit Japan hard in the early 1990s.
Takaaki Itoh was quickly impressed and intrigued with this new sound.
The unique style of beats revealed the gateway to a new world of underground music in Japan – something he had never heard before.
in 1994,Takaaki began to organize his own techno parties in his home of northern Japan.
By providing a fantastic lineup, his parties quickly became a success.
In 1996, having decided that it was time to start making his own tracks,
His Japanese style of techno was pure, unique and underground – nothing that had been heard before in Europe.
His reputation and popularity quickly spread all over the continent. He was becoming recognized as Japan’s most underground and respected techno DJ.
As of 2001 he was getting offers to perform at large clubs and festivals all over Europe, like awakenings,berghain,tresor.
Promoters wanting him, party people loving him,
Takaaki Itoh took the next step and started his own label Wols. Passion led to success and he became recognized as the top of the next generation of techno music.

So far, the Annulled Music imprint has released Hydrangea’s debut album, called ‘Dawn Lights’, a sensorial trip that captures each of your senses. She also released an EP on Natch Records and tracks on VA compilations, such as « The Wandering II Compilation » on Silent Season and « Arquitectura del Sueño » on Semantica. Besides being constantly preoccupied in reshaping her sound and developing new ways of expression through music, she’s also passionated by photography, capturing the nature which some are used for artworks on different music releases and graphic art projects.

Calemma @ OZORA 2019 The Dome

Monomood was born in a small village near to Dresden in the mid 80thies. Since more than 10 years he lives in Berlin. As an artist he is difficult to categorize. What is it? Techno? House? Drum and Bass? Or maybe Dubstep? What about a quantum Funk or Ambient? Well, actually, it’s always a bit of everything – but it’s always new and fresh. It is hard to find the leitmotif, and yet there is one: quality. After dwelling on the Drum and Bass station for a while, it is most accurate to say Monomood has taken off into the future: the wide cosmos of dubby Techno sounds. His vinyls on Etui Records, carry us into the complex world of echoed chords and spacy Delays as well as dark techno vibes.
