Franz Scala is the head of @slow-motion-records, an Italian dance label based in Berlin. Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has released on World Unknown, @bordelloaparigi, @bahnsteig23, @justtusk, @mechatronicamusic, @correspondant or @discodromo’s @cocktail-damore.
Franz sets are as diverse as the music he curates on Slow Motion. 
Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Proto House, Cosmic and Psychedelic Disco House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fuelled only by his music.

Today he gifts us an hour and half of what he does best, the show is a live recording from a gig he did in the legendary KitKat Club in Berlin last January, enjoy!

Here’s my set from the other week hanging with the fine folks at Bordello Aperitivo in Amsterdam. It was so much fun playing 3 hours of my favorite italo, disco, and house tracks for everyone! Huge thanks to those who came out, and to the lovely crew for having me. Hope you enjoy the ride.

'From Cuenca, based in Madrid since 2001, it is at the early age of 16 when he acquires his first turntables, opening for him a wide musical universe that he will gradually discover. Influenced by the machine, progressive and EBM music of the early 90's, Eder has flowed through different styles, always with an open mind to discover new things. Hence his sessions can be considered eclectic, going through house, disco, cosmic, acid house, italo disco, darkwave and rave.

It was in 2012 when he started a project called "Discoteca" dedicated mainly to disco music and derivatives, which for 10 years has been developed by different venues in Madrid as Siroco or Berlin Club, with artists such as Alexander Robotnick, Cosmo Vitelli or Kris Baha to name a few.'
