Phu Quoc Odyssey is a melodic house & techno banger produced by MATTY, a Vietnamese DJ/Producer based in Saigon, Vietnam. The main lead was made from PRO1 synthetiser and gives the energy to the track, the melodics are empowering and we can feel a real story telling and interesting evolution through the track. The build up is effective and the bass deep! Phu Quoc Odyssey is the very first release of MATTY on a record label and it’s an amazing start!

Lead joint "Do It The Way You Feel" is the epitome of a muscular piano-house anthem inbound for restless soul-snatching all the way. Injecting the classic appeal of a quality Chicago jack with proper knee-buckling breaks out the 90s UK sound vault, a kosmische-friendly sense of oneiric spaciousness and distorted cowbells jingling to deadly effect, Cioz' belter of a tune oozes consenting club disintegration in the making.  With recent releases on Einmusika, Lost & Found, microCastle, Stil Vor Talent  and their latest remixes on a lot of different high quality labels it is no wonder that these two dutch heroes are welcomed guests at every occasion. Their unique mixture of cinematographic and melodic techno forms highly enjoyable rides throughout every night.

Behind Mononoid are Igor and Andy from Groningen, the Netherlands. They took the word ‘Mono’ (as in solo) and the word ‘nooit’ (Dutch for never), which basically can be translated into "never alone".
