Norator is a synthpop band with the roots in the synth music of the 80s but with influences from many other genres and decades.

Our lyrics are both in Swedish and English, and they deal with day-to-day things and contemplations about life.

The music is primarily happily blipping depressive synthpop.

The sounds we use are electronic and we find joy in the unique sounds that a synthesizer can produce and which are unlike the sound of any other instrument.

Band member in @norator who sometimes (quite rarely) make music on my own.
Here I present my old and new stuff, and also repost stuff I like and of course all our Norator songs.

After many years in different bands, Per Broberg started making music the way he wanted it to sound with the instrument closes to his heart; the analog synthesizer. A collection of old relics took some years to build up along with an old-school studio with springreverbs and tapeechoes. Now it is done and the production is on!

We know that there´s a need for a channel of great electronic music out here in the perimiter, where there are no stars, only purity of mind. We want this label to take on an organic form, being shaped by the combined creative forces that will contribute. We will follow no specific genre, we will rather focus on variation. We know that the whole is so much more than the sum of it’s parts. We believe in audiovisual architecture, governed by pure passion and heart.
