Valentin Ilie pairs up with kataa for their funk laden Déepalma Records debut entitled ‚Belief‘, featuring a bubbly remix from whizzkids Misha Klein & No Hopes.

The original mix begins with crunchy beats and filtered bass, opening up to an infectious lead melody and a passionate spoken word vocal hook, carrying the track throughout and building the roof for this ear-catching funk laden groover. Misha Klein’s and No Hopes' rendition then takes on the original vocals and transform the track into a true club monster with uplifting chords, funky guitar licks and rolling bass notes.

“Fortuna” is an intricately pieced-together affair, based on clicky rhythms and hypnotic bleeps that lead to a dark, filtered breakdown that will push the party over the edge whenever it's dropped. 

“Motion12” continues with this dark theme, as deconstructed slivers of percussion and a nagging, insistent groove provide the backing for an ominous, acid-flecked bassline that keeps on building. 

“Pumkin” sees Ritch and Collins explore an experimental sound: the rhythms still have that clicky, bleepy effect, but this time, there are FX-heavy drums to contend with and a dark, nagging techno riff that insinuates itself through the arrangement to cause meltdown on the dancefloor.
