3 years ago, Ken Ninomiya wrote to me asking permission to use my track, "Night Dive" (and later the track 'Transit') in a new film he was making called, "SLUM-POLIS".  He expressed that he was a fan of my music for awhile now, and that the song would complete his work.  Very humbled, I graciously accepted.  Since the completion of the film, it has made the rounds in festivals in Japan and Europe, pleasing both audiences and critics.  Today marks the DVD release of the film.  (Unfortunately I don't think there is english language available!) I'm in the process of renovating/updating various aspects of my studio, adding new hardware/software. New music on the way.

I'm a believer in true social interaction on SC, having intelligent dialogue with artists, and giving personal feedback that is (hopefully) more inspired than "Nice."  There are a lot of decent artists here not attempting to "go viral", sharing great music that deserves to be heard and not drowned out by bots.  Encouragement/criticism promotes growth, so say something worth something.
