Desde Buenos Aires, Remisería Temperley nace de la reinterpretación de ritmos percusivos sudakas como la chacarera, el malambo, la murga y las batucadas, mezclados con las texturas de la música experimental y la energía de la pista de baile. En esta ocasión presenta Zangoloteos, su nuevo LP, en el que propone una búsqueda sonora dura sobre la aceleración de los ritmos ternarios de Sudamérica.

From Buenos Aires, Remisería Temperley is born from the reinterpretation of sudakas percussive rhythms such as chacarera, malambo, murga and batucadas, mixed with the textures of experimental music and the energy of the dancefloor. On this occasion he presents Zangoloteos, his new LP, in which he proposes a hard sound search on the acceleration of local ternary rhythms of Argentina.

ZANGOLOTEO

Literary definition:
To be (a person) constantly moving from place to place without any purpose or end. 

Criollo definition:
Malambo hard and plastic.
Aggressive metallic Chacarera.
Psychedelic Bailecito.
Cueca a little bit emo.
Triunfo but faster. 

VOLQUETE is a party and music platform that was born in 2022 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to promote artists and producers who investigate resonant and percussive music.

We started Clubwerks 6 months ago so we could showcase the work of a couple of artists who impressed us with their novel music-making powers. Many more appeared on the way so it grew fast into a label with a busy release schedule for 2015 that will also feature music by some of the new talent on this compilation.

The Clubwerks Christmas Compilation is our kind of a family reunion for the heads but also, objectively speaking, an arsenal of novelties and functional club tracks wrapped up neatly in a cohesive set. These are tracks to be experienced in dark rooms or open fields, so what better way to show them off than in a sequence. There are never enough good dance tracks in a DJ's collection and all of these could easily stand out in any so we hope you'll be hearing these in a club near you.

B.O.M is yet another incredibly promising young Swiss producer from Basel to join our expanding Clubwerks crew. His music is unexpected and as intriguing as it is straight-forward. He makes slowly-building impactful drum tracks that draw on ghetto-tech, touch on stripped-down bass music and exude clubby functionalism intended for minimal-leaning, open-minded crowds. 

With the exception of Jucy, the gorgeous house chant that opens the Abracadabra EP, all tracks are percussion-based jams packed with clever and fun instrumental moments alongside cool vocal hooks. 

Each track has a particularly strong personality and seems better than the previous one, which is a rare feat on a 6 track EP. With the arrival of artists such as B.O.M we can only anticipate more and more surprising music such as his, because this EP is nothing short of a definition of Clubwerks' musical intentions.

Monstart was born 16 years ago, out of love and celebration. The fruit of the meeting of Ouanounou (DJ) and Chatte Chatoyante (dancer-performer). 

With its pack of artists coming from all over the world, the label has been exploring club music and culture. Not caring about adhering to one specific genre, they draw from all of their combined influences to create a hybrid project.

With one idea in mind : to be together while celebrating the richness of human singularities.

Since 2009, 80 events mixing music and performances, 21 releases on the label (EPs and compilations) and a 5 years residency on Rinse France have allowed them to express their own vision of club music. After 5 years of Rinse’s residency,  Monstart is experiencing a new chapter with their homies of Piñata Radio by starting a musical journey, becoming their new monthly hosts. 

“For us dance and music are inseparable. We approach them in a personal, visceral and inclusive way. We don’t care about fitting in.”

Since 2019, the label has opened its publishing and sync branch named 'AudioScore', producing music for worldwide advertising campaigns.
