Napstablook is the Ruins Dummy replacement, and one of Gaster's Followers is the Napstablook replacement. The other Gaster Followers are along for the ride as well. After the tragic demise of Dr. Gaster and Dr. Alphys quit, this Follower moved its way to the Ruins where it would try and convince Alphys to return to the lab some day, if only to carry on Dr. Gaster's legacy.

The Gaster Followers didn't really have a place to stay and Napstablook decided to let the trio crash with them. The Followers have taken up the hobby of making small inventions and contraptions, and they're slowly trying to build their way up to bigger things.

Napstablook, being the fervent composer they are, frequently revisits some of their older work to see how they would handle the concept with their new skills. This particular rendition of Spooktune is one from 201Y.

Collecting both a fallen human's armor and weapon lets Frisk feel like they're somehow reconnecting with that fallen human just a bit more and for a moment it feels as though they're truly present.

Meet Alice (she/her), the human with the Kindness SOUL. She was the third/fourth human to fall down Mt. Ebott, together with Jacky (see Bravery). Alice's main motivation for going up the mountain was Jacky, as well as the legend that monsters lived underground. If those legends were true, then it was also surely true that it was humans who put them there... so maybe she could show them some kindness, and maybe even help monsters back out onto the surface?

Meet Ellen (they/she/he), the human with the Justice SOUL. They were the fifth human to fall down Mt. Ebott. While generally the stoic type, they can be very compassionate when the situation calls for it.

The thing that led them up the mountain was a mixture of curiosity and self-discovery. With most of her friends having gone missing, she had less people to talk to, and more time to herself, with more time to self-reflect. One fateful night they'd wind up climbing the mountain, and without even a shred of hesitation found themself jumping into the big hole at the top.

From the cycle “The Rose Garden Fantasies”

Like the last ray of sunlight shimmering in the dew upon rose petals, this composition unfolds in the most delicate lines of sound. The melodies drift through the air like silken threads – barely tangible, carried by the wind, fleeting yet woven with memory.

Between shimmering harmonies and filigree motifs, a fine fabric of music emerges – one that does not lament transience, but embraces it tenderly. It is the quiet threshold where summer takes its leave: warmth fades, while the first heralds of autumn glimmer in scattered sparks of sunlight and in the whisper of the wind.

Each tone gently releases itself from silence, dissolves in the breath of time, and leaves behind a trace of light in the shadow of the blossom. The music becomes a soft dialogue between presence and remembrance – like a rose petal drifting away, and a fragrance that lingers.

Monster Mix is an Undertale AU made by a friend of mine back in 2016-2017. They've unfortunately since left the Undertale SoundCloud scene, but I still look back on this AU rather fondly. We've gone through numerous attempts of reiterating the AU, but the approach I'm taking here is having it based heavily on the oldest versions of the roles we had decided on. While the newer ones were definitely very cool too, it doesn't feel right to do that new take without them on board.

The roles will be revealed as time goes on, but there's a decent chance they're already known to quite a handful of you.
