Recently appearing on the celebrated Only Silk 04 anthology, Phil Martyn returns to treat us listeners to an excellent two-track EP. "So Long" delivers a tour de force of progressive house. Head-bobbing, dance-inspiring moments pervade the entire track and are made all the more memorable by a gliding, distorted bass line that gives the track a truly unique sound. "Give It Up" delights listeners with a quintessential deep house sound. Soulful vocal samples and resounding, funky bass riffs give way to melodic mallet synths that impart a rich atmosphere to the low rhythmic groove.

The Original Mix takes off on a blissful note, courtesy of intriguing piano strokes and captivating sound effects. Ai's mesmerizing vocals soon enter the mix, while subtle percussion elements build underneath; the chorus proves to be a stunning aural experience when Ai's vocals shine atop the soothing soundscape.
