Instrumentalist Denis Laurent & vocalist Kaisa Martina have teamed up on "All I Need", their 2nd Silk Textures offering. This promising Ukrainian duo has a wonderful talent for "romantic" deep and progressive house, as demonstrated by their previous "My Feelings For You" single. Their latest begins with a deep, sensual groove, while various "late-night" atmospheric effects capture the "out-of-body" bliss of a couple first falling in love. Kaisa's effortlessly beautiful and heartfelt lyrics profoundly deepen the mood. Denis Laurent's solo offering "Haze" serves as the B-side; it's a much deeper affair, centered on a subterranean bassline. Gentle pads give the song a free-flowing, contemplative feel, while light melodic synth strokes gracefully usher the listener along.

summer days. This next EP release from this Japanese
house producer and PG newcomer Oluca, 'Indigo', will
get you in that mood.

Indigo:

Smooth and jazzy, the natural warmth of maracas and hand 
drums heats up the dance floor in this super groovy tune by 
Oluca called "Indigo". This downtempo beat has just enough 
oomph to get your body moving, and enough chill factor to 
keep you enjoying your glass.

Nostalgia:

"Nostalgia" on the other hand of the EP by Oluca, is still 
quite warm, but definitely more fit for warming up the dance 
floor. The yang to "Indigo"s Yin. Oluca has the deep elements 
grinding low frequency bass with synth leads that are on point.

We're thrilled to present "Summer Selections 03," featuring four deep and lush cuts. In this edition, we have handpicked new tracks by label veterans Dezza, Claes Rosen, Espen, and Shane Robinson to complement your summer travel experiences, from scenic drives to revitalizing trips to the beach.

Kicking off the EP, Dezza delivers the deliciously deep and sensual "True," a late-night anthem with an impossibly infectious groove. Fresh off his hit remix of Vintage & Morelli's "Desire," which was supported on radio by Above & Beyond, Dezza continues to craft emotive and layered, yet club-friendly compositions, a niche that he has truly mastered in his decade-long career. We affectionally welcome back Swedish virtuoso Claes Rosen, one of the very first artists to sign with our imprint, for a characteristically melodic and sun-kissed take on Justin Oh's classic, "Good Morning." Summer-flavored instrumentation and a buoyant, yet chilled house groove unite to create an uplifting soundscape. Globally recognized progressive house artist and fellow Silk veteran Espen follows suit with "So Blue," an atmospheric, after-hours gem. Evocative, cinematic textures permeate the other-worldly soundscape from start to finish. Closing out the release, esteemed Irish veteran Shane Robinson submerges the listener into even deeper terrain with "Crystalline," which centers on a cavernous groove and moody, if not foreboding, pads.

For two years running, Polish talent Mizar B has made unforgettable contributions to our annual "Only Silk" compilation series. On this year's "Only Silk 04," Max Flyant featured Mizar B's triumphant "Behind That Door" near the end of his continuous mix, to climactic effect. For our latest single, we are thrilled to share a full-length version of Mizar B's original mix, alongside brand new interpretations by celebrated Silk veterans Aeron Aether and Blugazer.

The original version centers on a deep, yet buoyant rhythm section, hypnotic arp line, and lush, after-hours soundscape. A variety of mellifluous themes begin to seep into the mix, including a gorgeous piano theme, and, just as memorable, a gorgeous vocal hook. In the main breakdown, the blissful piano and vocals take center stage, paving the way for a groovy and emotive drop.

American veteran Blugazer offers a dreamlike interpretation, which descends into even deeper terrain than the original. Gorgeous, brain-tickling atmospheric effects permeate his sonic canvas, while subtly hypnotic variations on the original melodies carry the midrange of his composition. After a short respite in the main break, the gentle crescendo of the many atmospheric layers continues onward, allowing the song's soothing arrangement to completely envelop the listener.

Beloved Hungarian veteran Aeron Aether, who remains our label's director of audio mastering, makes his first artistic appearance on our imprint in years; needless to say, we are overjoyed to welcome him back. His remix fittingly is in the niche of progressive breaks, a genre to which he has contributed enormously (since 2008) and has truly helped to define. In the early going, the adrenalin-fueled bassline and beats pack a tremendous punch; at the quarter turn, Aether's (signature) symphony of emotive atmospheric effects make a cinematic entrance. An unconventional, yet exhilarating lead synth cuts through the mix soon thereafter. In the latter half of the composition, these awe-inspiring elements unite, creating a soundscape that is both haunting and rapturous.

Feelings of romance and hope imbue the spring months, as well as the music released this time of year. We're thrilled to present five uplifting new cuts by Jay FM, Anthony Nikita, Peter Illias and Lukas Solcani, Airdraw, and LOOPer, which capture the optimistic mood of the spring season.

Irish sensation Jay FM, fresh off a new EP on our imprint (arriving last week), returns with "Good Times." Opening with a vibrant beat, the track slowly gives way to contemplative chords, underpinned by a deep bassline. Just before the halfway mark, we experience a momentary pause and find ourselves amid a humming soundscape. This affords us enough time to float along (blissfully), before being plunged back into the mesmerizing beat.

NYC-based producer and DJ Anthony Nikita deftly contributes "Love The Way," featuring gorgeous vocals from fellow label newcomer Hadar Adora. The track's soothing beat helps to craft a tranquil and sensual soundscape, highlighted by mellow chords and various jazzy flourishes. Hadar Adora's entrancing vocals enhance the romantic, after-hours vibes throughout the composition.

On "Be Mine," Peter Illias and Lukas Solcani unite their progressive prowess into a sweeping wave of energy. The listener experiences an invigorating swirl of bass, combined with scintillating piano keys. Haunting vocal cuts layer the track with an emotive texture, providing depth to an already invigorating composition. 

NYC-based duo New Ordinance make their label debut via an inspired orchestral take on Airdraw, Aaren & Jo.E's progressive-flavored "Bryde's Whale." While the arrangement begins nearly identical to the original version, it eventually reveals poignant new strings, which reach their zenith alongside echoing piano keys. The resulting combination of sonic elegance and energy creates a distinct composition, which leaves us pondering the changes of a new season.

Denis Laurent, the gifted veteran Russian composer, debuts his new Shomu alias through a remix of LOOPer and Andy Wooding's classic "All We Are." Signaling the arrival of spring, Andy Wooding's refrain "we are living together, under the sun" radiates warmth and illuminates the momentary simplicity of the human condition. As we find ourselves spending more time outdoors, we notice both the earth and our relationships beginning to bloom, a hopeful reflection that is amplified by Shomu's delicate percussion and playful melodies.
