Eternity Recordings return from a hiatus to bring you a huge slice of funky electro. Young Norwegian producer Espen Lorentzen returns under a new alias, known as Spenster, to present an EP which will knock your freaking Yoiks off!

Lead title ‘New Yoik’ is an incredibly distinctive production, with clever synth melodies and vocal samples that can only be described as (the title suggests) ‘Yoiks’. These creatively thought out elements combine with a jackin’ electro bassline groove laced with resonating acid, creating a hefty piece of dancefloor action with plenty of dynamics.

Backup track ‘Lazerfunk’ is a perfect alternative to those little ‘Yoiks’. It’s another synth heavy, catchy number based around one almightily infectious main hook that will get deep into your head! A huge electro drop follows, taking it to the next level. Spenster is for sure, bringing the electro lazer funk here!

And what happens in a week? His 1320 debut Mystic Wonders drops far and wide. The laid-back beach vibe of this premiere track is absolutely indicative of the sounds on this forthcoming record. The "WorldVibz" essence is that of kick-back hip-hop with a sprinkling of Jamaican jerk. Denver's RUMTUM is right at home with fans of Dilla, as well as The Polish Ambassador. Quirky heads will love the eccentric accessories, and boom-bap nerds get that groove they always dream of, but never quite get.

«Vladimir PROFF and me have already compiled mix CDs for various projects in the past, but those were explicitly limited by the labels’ catalogs or some other circumstances. This time the situation is completely different, – Vadim Soloviev reveals some of the details. – While working on the first volume of Intricate Sessions and being in the preparative phase, we felt like gleaning for the smallest bricks for the compilation framework, including a number of unsigned and unreleased productions. As a consequence, my mix totally corresponds with my current vision of modern electronic dance music, my personal taste and preferences, and globally with the musical philosophy of Intricate Records. This means, first of all, progressive sound in it’s classical form, both melodic and dancefloor-friendly, but not big-room arena style. Besides that, I added some deep house and progressive trance, plus even some proper, high-quality  electro house.
