John (AKA "Yanni" to his friends), is an Architect by day and a Renaissance man the rest of the time. When not designing buildings, or drawing and painting, as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter over the last 15+ years, John has written, recorded and performed music for Indie Films, Theatrical productions, TV, and Podcasts (most notably Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast).

Yanni loves old Rock and Roll, Blues, Psychedelia, Art Rock, Prog Rock, Power Pop and a lot of music from the UK. 

Empty City Squares is his sometimes real / sometimes virtual band. The band's second album, "337" was released January 2019.

Frank Verderosa has been a post-production mixer, sound designer, radio producer and composer since 1991.  A graduate of the SUNY Fredonia Tonmeister Studies program, Frank quickly excelled in the music business as an engineer for major label artists and indies alike.  After a successful run recording and mixing artists like Run DMC, Notorious BIG, Onyx and the Fu-Schnickens-  as well as logging many hours working with some of the best jazz artists in the world, Frank made a shift towards the world of audio post.

Frank credits his musical background and the ear training needed to mix all the different styles of music he has over the years with his ability to not only create and mix rich soundscapes for all his productions- but to do it quickly and efficiently. 

Having worked at many of New York City’s best recording studios throughout the 1990’s, Frank went on to staff positions at Soundtrack, Kampo Studios and MIxed Nuts before starting his own company, Planet V, in 1996.  He took up residence at Nutmeg Audio Post in 2004, where he continues to flourish as a mixer, sound designer, composer and radio producer.  Today, Frank continues to work with ad agencies to produce TV and radio commercials.  He is also lending his skills to the entertainment world by mixing promos for many networks.  Frank also spends a lot of time handling recording and ADR sessions for companies like Disney, Nickelodeon and numerous film companies.  Recently, Frank’s room has been host to the cast of HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’, ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘The Newsroom’ and others for DVD commentary recording.  Nutmeg Studio E’s large booth and ‘celebrity friendly’ setting makes it an ideal choice.
