With 'Transform Your Life' we welcome back Nadya to the ICONYC family. She kicks things off nicely with the title track 'Transform Your Life' and its forlorn moodiness that shines through, as we stroll effortlessly through tough club inspired melodies, while the sweltering chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. The track continues to build on an unyielding foundation of punchy percussive grooves and bass-lines. 'Transform Your Life' is a skillful piece of music that highlights Nadya's palpable talents.

Next up we have 'Fluid' which features a polished and sophisticated sound profiling, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh and upfront. The transcendent beats on offer take the energy levels up a notch, increase the élan with stripped back and lucid elements, before the luscious pads change the vibe and create a blanket of balminess that wraps around the accomplished groove. 'Essential stuff'!

Nadya created a wonderful EP on her return to ICONYC full of tension from the word go. The introduced club vibes throughout intelligently keeps you moving with warm dynamic sounds, a smooth driving edge and fine percussive fragments. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. It's all about the energetic groove and cool club vibes that are working their magic around the duo wonderfully arranged original that create an irresistible sequence while taking the mind on a trip.

Patrick Kunkel is no new to our family, he has been around for a while now, delivering some great remixes in the past. He recently joint forces with our good friend Alex Sauer - a very talented and well known vocalist and songwriter and recently electronic music producer and composer - to finally join us with a fantastic 3 track EP.
"Better Than Before" is something really fresh, all the tracks are melodic and use Alex's vocals developing a new and catchy breed of electronic tech-house, which suits perfectly any dance floor or open air. The package is beautifully completed by some other good friends of ours, Japan's well respected and talented analog producers Kikiorix & Satoshi Otsuki (Womb / Circoloco JP / Eleven) and Aninha & Antonela Giampietro (Warung / Club Vibe / 24Bit).
While Kikiorix & Satoshi bring the tune to a deeper, hypnotic techno sounding, Aninha & Antonela exploit the freshness of the melodies and the vocals to deliver a fantastic funky house, analog and properly 80s-sounding Deep House remix.

It's nice to be able to dip into the »new music pool« in your local scene and pull out the latest and hottest stuff, isn't it?
Well, we totally agree, and thus present you the new RKJVK 12". RKJVK also known as Rey&Kjavik is Alexander Schomann, DJ and producer from Offenbach, Germany aka »Robert Johnson City«. And Alexander gives us two extraordinary tracks entitled »Circles« and »Forever« - and by extraordinary we do mean extraordinary.
Extraordinary track number one is called »Circles« and sets the mood for this record: Meditative and stoical could be two words to describe this relaxed sombre 124 bpm tune driven by a robotic voice and a very relaxed bass drum which sometimes just stops beating. But of course the beat never stops here - rest assured.
»Forever« is even more relaxed: RKJVK slows down the tempo, reduces the bass drum beat which pumps along like a slow-motion electro beat and adds an eerie oriental melody and percussion plus the same roboter voice which in a mantra kinda way sings phrases like »We are here together forever« and »Days like this when nothing goes right« - what a fantastic vibe! Extraordinary again. 
As his biography says »Rey&Kjavik offers a spiritual rousing path, which enlightens and leads into other spaces, places and spheres.« He indeed does here, leaving us speechless, really. Now all you gotta do is hear for yourself and experience the marvelous world of RKJVK.
