The musical beginnings of Montezuma. Founded by Merten Schicht in 2014, followed by Adam Boddien (saxophone), Fabian Mono (guitar) and rémi (rémi.fr) in 2019. Meanwhile it is mainly used as the producer page of Merten. A combination between electronic and organic sounds. estrato. Part of PARIDES COLLECTIVE.

We are the Parides Collective: A young group of various individuals who grew up together in Dresden. Over time, we spread out in different directions, but what binds us is our love for musical journeys and our shared vision to execute creative projects. Initial attempts to produce music under the name "Parides" evolved into the idea of bringing more enthusiastic people on board to establish a creative collective that provides a platform for various artists to share their own creations. Today, we are a handful of eclectic minds, looking both back and forward to an exciting array of musical releases and unforgettable moments, as we strive to contribute our part to the conglomerate of dynamic sub-culture. A fundamental aspect of our approach is to not limit ourselves by genre or style - in line with our motto: "C’EST PAS LA MÊME CHOSE."

Aufgewachsen mit dem druckvollen Bass der Dresdner Techno-Szene entdeckte ich relativ früh meine Liebe zur elektronischen Musik. Mein enger Freund Merten Schicht führte mich schon mit sechzehn Jahren in die Musik-Produktion ein und schnell verirrte ich mich hinter den Decks am Mixer. Als Co-Founder des Parides Collective und Teil von Montezuma bin ich in der Szene ansässig.
Nach zwei Jahren in Wien und meiner Residency beim Schall&Schabernack Kollektiv konnte ich auch außerhalb Deutschlands meine Spuren in der Technoszene hinterlassen und bleibe Wien weiterhin treu verbunden. Nun bin ich in Berlin ansässig und stecke weiterhin Schweiß und Blut in die oben bennaten Projekte! 
Soundtechnisch habe ich mich vor allem einem harten aber groovigen Techno mit teilweise trancigen Elementen verschrieben. Die Sets sind akribisch ausgetüftelt - immer nach dem Motto: zu keinem Zeitpunkt (!) darf der Gedanke der Raucherpause in der Crowd hochkommen. Also high-energy und hypnotischer flow! 🐉
