Leonardo’s background is varied to say the least. A multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and arranger. He started working on TV commercials in 2003,  in styles ranging from Techno, Rock hybrids, Jazz, and mood Electronica. At the same time he setup his private studio and began working with independent musicians and bands as Recording Engineer, Mixer and Producer.

He quickly expanded; the success of the commercial tunes lead to work for multimedia productions, most notably the PC Video Game mod “The Nameless Mod”released in 2009, which stylistically featured Ambient music blended with Acoustic instruments, thundering Drumbeats and fully Orchestral scores.

2009 also brought to light Leo’s first solo album “Beyond Consciousness”. An Instrumental-Progressive-Metal approach that lended the listener a chance to enthral in a new musical landscape and heralded the arrival of a humble, likable, yet virtuosic Guitarist and Composer.

Leonardo’s personal vision of music intertwines most divergent styles into a most harmonious soundscape. He colours his compositions from many points on the musical compass: Atmospheric Synths that have much in common with Electronica or a delicate movie soundtrack; mixing Folk rhythms and harmonies that have seeped into his work organically from the music that surrounds Leo in the variety of culture that surrounds him in Chile; Stunning Acoustic Guitar fusion occurs, with elements of South American Folk, Flamenco and the Classical realm which all combine to give form to the truly beautiful Acoustic Guitar passages featured on his music.

Already providing inspiration for many aspiring guitarists and composers with his ground breaking musical work, Leonardo keeps himself hungry for more, always looking for that special something that turns a project into a gem, that special moment where the piece gets a life of it’s own. Relentlessly dedicated, demanding and a true perfectionist, this will be seen in the future, as, just the beginning…
