Producer hiding behind the Tumrok alias went through unpredictable fate twist when he faced the sound design descipline. Alike eponymous Russian Far East vulcano ridge's behavior his musical talent was sleeping until 2011. So when the art of soundsculpting drew his attention it even made him to postpone the medical biologist career for a while but you can defenetly feel the scientific approach he use to create music. Seems like he observes a broad scope of themes and techniques in contemporary underground techno to tie them together as a single, coherent field. Rich in mesmerizing textures and details the sound landscape of Tumrok come alive once you push the play button. No wonder his first release is launching on ambient and hypnotic techno oriented Unknown Timeline.

For our weekly edition of our codecast series, we're glad to present Pino Peña.
He recorded a groovy one hour journey through hypnotic, high paced rhythms including mostly recent releases & cutting edge techno, but also some older, classic productions, that suits perfectly our codecast Y section.

Pino started djing during his teens, with his father as the duo Bone X Zone. Currently based in Berlin he produces and djs as a solo artist under the alias of Pino Peña, and in a duo with Mitchell Jones aka Jones&Roth. 

The sound of his productions always varies across genres, offering elements from techno, house and breaks while being inspired by hiphop, psychedelic and garage rock, jazz and much more.
Recently he has released a solo EP on Glukkon Records but he can also be found on Einz Records, Lo Fidelity and on the constantly growing Schimmer Records, where he's also a resident.

Since 2018 she is following sounds, which express her presence the most: hypnotic, psychedelic, electric tunes with banging energies and spirit. For her, digging into new sounds, tempos, and styles is crucial, because this is the way she finds more in herself and shares with an open heart. That's why the waves coming from her, are always noticed and felt by the crowd. 

For the opening of our new project - Concrete Tbilisi, Sonnorus decided to record a special mix, besides her main characteristic craft, to show off the deep, dark & emotional side of human beings.
