Premiere: Toki Fuko - Freedom and desire

The third release focuses on the worlds we see within.

"IVE" is a wonderful collaboration between a Local sorcerer and Rambadu. During isolation they researched ways to escape reality by traveling inward and explored the connections
between our audible and visual perception.

By using the power of our voices we created an Image Visualization Environment that can bring us to many places. "Nue" represents our joy in life, the serene chants help us to cleanse our minds and in "Oiwo" we get lost in space so we can rise back into a world of light.

To support us on this journey we invited Forest on Stasys from Buenos Aires, Argentina for his interpretation. He has worked his magic giving you a warm and groovy feeling while we dance towards freedom.

Even though we live in distant places it is still possible to share and feel each other's energies.

A connection we should never forget exists.

For their fifth anniversary, Belgian hypnotic techno outfit Norite bring back their 'Noritian Mysteries' compilation for a second round, featuring 20 tracks from some of the likes of Saphileaum, Forest on Stasys, Lunar Convoy and Foreign Material.

Crescent London releases another V/A compilation featuring artists such as Javier Marimon, Adhémar and Sanjib. Monument premieres Simone Bauer's track "Yma" from the release, that will be out on February 18th.

MNMT Premiere: Simone Bauer – Yma

The latest release, 'Dawn Drops' EP from Berlin-based imprint Jazz-o-Tech, comes as a collaboration between two Finnish artists Aki Himanen and Aleksi Kinnunen. Both Himanen and Kinnunen are jazz musicians and techno producers, so this project found a perfect home in Jazz-o-Tech. Jazz-o-Tech is a label that draws on the rich heritage of two of the most visionary and experimental genres in music: jazz and techno. Taking inspiration from the freeform creative nature of those two musical worlds, artists on the label mix tradition with modernity, improvisation with experimentation, and create a new sound known as techno-jazz.

Two originals on the release are accompanied by dark, driving remixes from PEG and Polygonia. Polygonia's remix of 'Dawn Drops' brings rumbling groove, haunting mysticism of elusive pads, and trippy floating trumpet, which create an incredibly calming atmosphere that will do wonders on dance floors during after hours.
