mare meva. esta sesión fue un cierre increíble para un festival de lujo. primera vez que por no estar de vacaciones pude ir al mostra y grabado a fuego en mi agenda. menudo nivel y ya para acabar esto, previo Function, que hizo un set alucinante, en su línea, sin desmerecer al resto de actuaciones que fueron de lo mejor una tras otra. larga vida al mostra :)

Back in 2023 we were lucky enough to release an exceptional podcast from Timnah - our ears were hooked! We immediately felt the potential and knew that she would be the DJ to provide the perfect festival afternoon soundtrack to our beloved forest.

Fast forward to Sunday afternoon at Monument Festival 2024, and Timnah’s set completely surpassed our already high expectations. From the moment she started, it was clear this was going to be something special.

Starting slow and deep, setting the stage like the opening of an epic tale, Timnah’s set unfolded layer by layer, note by note like a cinematic sonic story told deep in the forest by a master storyteller, one that could have only been by Timnah herself.

Utrecht's Vand delivers an elegant mix comprised entirely of unreleased work from the artist and ISOTOOP curator (including several yet-unearthed collaborations with close contemporaries & label favorites) alongside selections from his recently released Trialism EP. We’re two weeks away from Mostra 2025. Final prep is in full swing, and over here at Delayed, we’re marking the moment with a special one. A two-hour recording from ABSIS—Mostra resident, local legend, and someone who’s been quietly shaping his own corner of the scene for years.

This one’s from Gare Porto, aka the Portuguese tunnel—one of those rare venues where the setting does half the work. ABSIS played alongside Nico and André Cascais for one of the recent Extramostra nights, and what came out of it is something else. A deep, locked-in ride that doesn’t bother with the usual build-and-drop patterns. It’s not about reaching some peak moment—it’s about staying in the zone and letting things unfold naturally. This set is pure spiral techno—deep, hypnotic, and tunnel-vision tight. It moves with that kind of quiet intensity that sneaks up on you. No flash, no filler. Just steady pressure and perfectly measured pacing. Like being pulled along some underground Iberian rail line, eyes closed, body moving on instinct. ABSIS keeps full control from start to finish, guiding the whole thing with an ease that only comes from time and taste.

You can feel the room in the recording—the acoustics of the tunnel, the crowd syncing up, that low-end weight that holds everything together. It’s a full-on experience, even in playback. There’s something about this set that sticks with you. The way it just moves—no big drama, no gimmicks, just pure direction and control. It’s the kind of mix that makes you wish you were there… and also kind of convinces you that you were.

ABSIS doesn’t overstate anything. He doesn’t have to. He locks into a mood and stays there, pulling everyone in with him. And if this set from Gare Porto is any sign of what’s coming—then that closing slot at Vall d’Hebron is going to be serious.

Master of futuristic, high-fidelity electronics, Pianeti Sintetici returns for a mind-bending edition of MNMT Live, recorded earlier this year at the Opificio party at Argo16 in Venice.

“In this live I wanted to express different facets of my sound, there are stems of many new productions that will be released in the future. I tried to combine everything with the sonic aesthetics of Opificio and I think I reached a good compromise between drum n bass, IDM and techno. I hope it can evoke at least in part the emotions of that night.”

Lindamann is a Japan-based DJ and producer whose work navigates the atmospheric edges of techno and the meditative depths of dub. Known for crafting immersive soundscapes that balance subtle rhythmic tension with emotional resonance, Lindamann’s music invites listeners into a space where time feels suspended and sound becomes a landscape of its own.

With releases on respected labels such as Lowless, Agos, Indefinite Pitch, and Oslated, his work has earned attention within the deeper strains of the global techno community. His recent focus on dub techno has led to releases on Huinali Recordings and Madah Sounds, where his explorations into space, texture, and minimalism continue to evolve.

Lindamann’s sets and productions are marked by a patient, narrative-driven approach — one that favors slow transformations over dramatic shifts, and atmosphere over obvious hooks. His sound is influenced not only by techno’s hypnotic tradition, but also by natural environments, ambient aesthetics, and a philosophical curiosity about perception and presence.

There is a big black heart in Barcelona that it is still beating. Three weeks later, we’re still digesting the magic that was the fourth edition of Mostra festival. From the most intimate listening moments to collective catharsis on the dancefloor, this year was something else.

Starting from the end this year, we’re proud to present the recorded closing set from Mostra's resident ABSIS, who delivered a deeply emotional finale that distilled everything Mostra stands for: a blend of force, finesse, energy and passion — all woven into one.

Across four editions, countless moments, different days and stages, ABSIS has always been there: reading the different dance floors, adapting, connecting the dots between sound and feelings. Being a resident is more than just playing; it’s embodying the festival’s pulse, giving it identity and continuity, and raising the collective experience to another level.

If you’ve journeyed with Mostra through the years, you know how central ABSIS (alongside Timnah and Patrick Russell) has been to shaping that Mostra spirit. If you haven’t yet, you may find the chance next year.

And now, for the first time: ABSIS closing the festival. A powerful tribute to what it means to support the local scene, not just by listing names from the city, but by creating moments like this one that matters.

This set continues our exploration of sound, guided by rhythms and textures rooted in tradition. Their music takes inspiration from spiritual culture and the natural world: Ritualistic percussions, a breeze, and the call of animals, all woven into an experience that connects body and mind.

Embodiment 070 - Space Drum Meditation

Next up in our mix series is Shoal, a Dutch producer and DJ who recently relocated to Prague. Known for his hypnotic, emotionally layered sound, Shoal crafts deep, transportive journeys through trippy textures, modular synthesizers, and rolling rhythms. A core member of the ISOTOOP collective, he’s performed at leading underground spots like De School, Tresor, and Ratherlost. His releases on labels like Tikita, Harmony Recordings, Monument, our own Ute.Rec, and most recently Animalia, continue to expand and refine his unique sonic voice within the scene.

In this mix, Shoal delivers a 1.5-hour live set full of acid-dripping techno, spacey atmospheres, and heads-down minimalism. It’s a slow-burning, carefully building mix that captures the raw live sounds and subtle depth that define his sound. A live-set working just as much the mind as the body.
