A new compilation from @fertildiscos 

Fertil discos is a newly born argentinean label, based in Buenos Aires. We are pleased to announce our most recent compilation, divided in two separate albums -one representing the Day, the other gathering Night sounds. Both records illustrate the new steps of the new wave of South America’s electronic artists, influenced by the sounds and rythms of our continent.

The compilation proposes you an ideal soundtrack for sunrises/sunsets on desert islands, drawing inspiration from ancient rhythms, electronic bass lines, and recent productions with a world music mindset.

Both volumes put together danceable songs like “Animal Estrella” (Pol Nada & El Remolón) and “Periferia” (Paisandoom); folktronic compositions like “Tejido” (Jin Yerei feat. Kona); slow techno songs like “Orobon” (Barda) and talented electronic compositions like “Dialogue” (Tomanka) and “Galata” (Santi) among other undiscovered gems.

Electrónica Orgánica Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 will be available on August 11th on our Bandcamp site and in all digital stores.


Fertil Discos, nóvel sello argentino con sede en Buenos Aires, presenta su más reciente compilación, dividida en dos volúmenes, con sonidos distinguidos en dos etapas del día: “Dia” y “Noche”.  En ellos se pueden apreciar los nuevos pasos de la corriente actual de artistas electrónicos influenciados por los sonidos y ritmos de Latinoamérica. 

El compilado propone un soundtrack ideal para atardeceres o amaneceres en islas desiertas, tomando inspiración de ritmos ancestrales, bajos electrónicos y producciones recientes con una mentalidad de  “música sin fronteras”.
Los dos volúmenes contienen canciones bailables como “Animal Estrella” (Pol Nada & El Remolón), “Periferia” (Paisandoom), la canción folktrónica de Jin Yerei llamada “Tejido”, el slow techno de Barda, las sugerentes canciones de Tomanka y Santi, entre otras gemas a descubrir.

Electrónica Orgánica Vol. 1 y Vol. 2 puede conseguirse desde el viernes 11 de agosto por Bandcamp y en todas las tiendas digitales y ya está la preventa disponible en Bandcamp.

After @mellowcatmusic provided one of the best warm up sets... our wonderful guest @deepfilip followed with an intense melodic and big unique techno set. I then I had the challenge to step up after two of my favorite music diggers/DJs/personalities to keep up the intensity of this wicked Sunset Grooves night at Folklor club in Lausanne. We finished the night with a b2b2b, however that will remain for the ears of those who were there that night... ;) 

I hope you enjoy this no nonsense mix as the set time was 03:30 - 05:00.

The first time Mente Organica's tunes came to our ears we were just going wow......

Born in Colombia, music flew out of the Andes directly into his blood. Since then his heart and mind is feeded by endless creativity and beauty.

We love how he builds bridges between traditional South American music and modern electronic Music, switching fast, playing with the tempo, his flutes and the Guitar. Real, joyful and deep.

It got really interesting when we involved Ninze & Okaxy, Daniel Imhof and Anton Feine & Colour you Mind into his Music. All of them created very unique Reworks gliding with the shadow of the condor.

Living Rhythm
The practice is focused on finding your own fundamental position between spiritual practices of ancients and technological nowadays. The balance is reached by music and dance. Music has been produced especially for the practice and allows to the listener to feel the contrast between the past and the present. As a live performance it’s possible to control the state of the dancers and create the build-ups, drops, breakdowns and uplifts so the dancers are being lead through all the emotional peaks which happen to people during natural life circle. 
In a  promo some short pieces of tracks combined together to give you the feel of the practice.

This album is part of the crowdfunding campaign of Chakana. With the profit of it, you can help a native community in the Amazon rain forest of Peru. 

Chakana is a nonprofit association, creating a conscious and active audience. Promoting campaigns of care for the environment and preservation of native communities. 

All the songs in the album have icaros from the ancient culture of the shipibos community from the Peruvian rain forest.
