It's taken us a little while to fully process what happened on Sunday but now we've had the time to recover from the madness that is Fusion Festival (you too, we hope??) we're realising just how much this gig meant to us and how happy we are with how it all went. Thank you to everyone who was there, who waited the extra 40 minutes while we battled with some technical difficulties, who cheered, sang our lyrics (wait, what?!) and danced with us. You were so supportive and after the first couple of songs the nervousness was almost gone and we could just enjoy sharing what we love together with you all. THANK YOU! You peeps are just great. <3

So, without further ado, here's our live set on the Velvet Soup stage at Fusion on Sunday night. Unfortunately the quality of the recording isn't great (where's the bass?!?), and we actually had to re-record a couple of parts at home due to an issue with the accordion microphone picking up the sound coming from the speakers, but we tried our best to play it exactly like we did on the night and blend it in smoothly with the original recording.  We are proud and happy and we hope you like it!

What we need now - maybe more than ever - is love. Not the image of love that we often carry around in clichés, but love in its true essence, its inescapable core. We need love in a radical way that unfolds its strength precisely in its fragile vulnerability, is aware of its fallibility and is therefore committed to the process and growth. A love that places the WE and not the EGO at the center of its actions. In other words, a love that is aware of its social and political responsibility, is active and wants to shape and heal. 
Imagine a world immersed in this love, in which we use all our knowledge, our skills and our wisdom for the benefit of all and not to maximize profit. 
In this spirit and full of love, I now share this summer memory with you. It was a hot dream on an august night at the Garbicz Festival. But whoever comes to action after dreaming creates new realities. So my biggest thanks go to all those who have supported me in making this dream come true. 

Wherever you are and however you spend these next few days, be good to yourselves and to each other and don't forget the paradises we can create together when we unite instead of divide.

Pablo Bolivar's label Seven Villas is known to put out anything from house, techno, ambient to slightly more experimental sounds, always relying on smooth progressive melodies. For their latest release, they welcome Thierry Viti, better known by his stage name of Ercos Blanka. Blanka's sounds have graced renowned imprints such as Kerri Chandler’s Madtech, while this release only re-affirms his status as one to keep an eye on. An 8 track LP, 'Classic Track' is a subtle but engaging listen that would fit perfectly as a soundtrack of short and rainy autumn days. Recommended for all Balearic, deep, melodic and dub aficionados with a gentle taste.
