My Man Nk Music and I present you 3 wonderful, jazzy, lofi and boom bap inspired instrumentals. The basic ideas arose from the topic ''Mental Health''. Due to the fact that almost every one of us has already had experience with it, for whatever reason, we were able to infuse a certain energy and love. Based on the title and the atmosphere, I think you can feel the vibe of the theme. I am proud of this project and collaboration.

We were allowed to release this ep under the great support of @steezyasfuck.

In parallel with several balearic-oriented releases, notably on the prestigious Claremont56 label, the Swiss 'Lexx' started producing hip-hop beats in the mid 90's. His latest single 'Karizma', signed under his alias 'LX72', is part of an MPC driven project, joining the dots between Boom Bap and Deep House and pays homage to the innovators and originators in the field of sample based music. ‘Karizma’ is the perfect background music for studying or for anyone looking for refreshing vibes.

Freak Heat Waves - In A Moment Divine (With Cindy Lee)

With their new single, ‘Too Few’, Batsch have delivered another perfect example of the skewed, infectious, dreamy alt-pop they are known for. It is the first new material that Mason Le Long and Matt Rheeston have produced since the band became a duo and marks a departure in their approach to composition. Over Rheeston’s bebop-flavoured drum loop and a haunting synth refrain, Le Long’s deadpan vocal calmly depicts a protagonist losing all perspective on their own welfare, sitting right on the knife’s edge between mania and joy. In Le Long’s own words, “I was struggling with some personal issues last autumn, though clearly in denial, so I was just trying to laugh it off. The lyrics were supposed to be poking fun at my own state of mind, but it was only on reflection, listening back a few weeks later, that I actually came to terms with what I was experiencing, and how it’s reflected in the song.”
