The debut offering from MOOD INC. ‘Lost in Vibration’ evokes imagery of a late night drive as it cruises along at a wonky low-tempo groove you can’t help but sway to. The bass line grounds the track in suggestions of 90’s Hip-Hop whilst the guitar and synth textures lazily dance around it.

The falsetto call and response to the lead vocal opens up the track in the chorus to a moment of sing-along Pop before it drops effortlessly into the hook creating a sense of laid back euphoria. Fittingly the sound of a clock at the beginning and end of the track suggest the passing of time, whilst the lyrics chronicle snapshots in a relationship “Caught my eye across the room…got me hypnotised” and “Sipping champagne all weekend, no one knows what we know, tell our friends we won’t be back all year” encapsulate and explore the nostalgic romanticism of transcendental moments in a personal relationship.

Having been in varying bands throughout the years, foundational members and lifelong friends conceived MOOD INC. as a form of personal escapism from recent tempestuous times, endeavouring to create a sonic platform to showcase its sound as a sonic melting pot fusing chilled Modern Soul, R&B and Indie-Electronica. With songs that offer a romanticism to places and people not yet been or met, the collective invite the listener along for the ride towards glowing sunsets, sandy beaches and warm waters, a stark contrast to the outfits dreary hometown origins of Essex.
