After years of fruitful studio work and intense worldwide touring with his band Stavroz, Beazar now steps out of the shadow. On his newest EP Furry Tale the Belgian abandons the strict four to the floor backbone of his earlier work in pursuit of more freedom, to express his dry and stern grooves laden with bittersweet tension. Inspired by Radiohead, Amon Tobin, Stimming, Apparat or Lorn, Beazar delivers his most delicate offering so far.

The first single ‘Furry Tale’ is an earworm. Inspired by the capricious behaviour of a cat swinging from good-hearted flattering to a fierce temper in just the blink of an eye, its anecdotal nature will most likely get it passed on from one generation to another, as an ancient history that carefully needs to be preserved. The EP's title track marks a new and seasoned stage in Beazar’s creative path.

It comes with an equally cinematographic video by the hand of choreographer Işıl Bıçakçı. Hailing from Istanbul, her vision on contemporary dance has brought her and her pieces to celebrated festivals all over the world.

The next release, scheduled for 24 January 2022, is the result of a long artistic reflection based on the dreams of Alexander Coetzee, alias LEEU, DJ and producer from Johannesburg, South Africa.

The album Dream Control is an introspective musical masterpiece about the universal mystery that every human being lives through, their dreams. To those moments when you cannot decide if it is infact a dream or reality and the freedom one feels when lucid dreaming. 

Divided into 3 chapters, this album approaches by a first EP the paradoxical dream, then by second EP the waking dream and finally by a complete reading through an album to be released on March 1, 2022.

For this 2nd day chapter, LEEU was surrounded by artists from South Africa including Lemonella, a poetess with a melancholy and acidulous tone, and Eric Volta, a multiinstrumentalist & producer from Berlin.

This album will be the subject of a double album vinyl release and a concert on Saturday, July 2, 2022 for the 15th edition of the Festival Week-end au bord de l'eau in Sierre, Switzerland.

Swiss connaisseur @johnparsley shares some of his delicious recipes with us with his new „Panipuri EP“. As John puts it himself, these tracks mark the beginning of a new era for him, having „still playful, but a bit more tidy production with a bigger focus on sound design than ever before. It’s the new sound for the alternative dancefloor, dreamy, cheerful, full of groove - more than just BumzBumzBumz“. And well… we concur!   Look no further than the opener „Tejido“ with its trippy layerings of percussions, synths and vocals thrown into cubby echo chambers. „Der Zweite Tag“ picks up the pace and delivers a slightly more streamlined version of this intriguing mixture. The title track reduces the tempo again and sends us sliding down the rabbit hole in slow motion letting bubbling synth apps swirl around our heads, which makes us wonder if there might be some special psychedelic ingredients in John’s very own Panipuri recipe. „Cafesito“ is a collaboration with producer Eli LiNE and weaves off into breakbeat territories but sonically connects to the rest of the EP with its seductive synth and vocal snippets. Closing off the EP is a remix by @corneliusdoctor, who elegantly turns „Cafesito“ into a subtle beast for the peakier times of the night.

After a 2 year hiatus following his last release on Under Your Skin Records, Harted returns home with “Dear Unrest”, his first full album and the first album ever to be out on Moodfamily. 
The trippy, soft yet rhythmic and danceable elektronica and IDM sound on Harted’s third release “Dear Unrest” reflects a period of actual unrest, demonstrating the sound of his personal growth during that time. It represents an honest quest for the human experience of unity and the existential search for his function in the world, unearthing a battle to harmonize his sound with his sincere emotions.

The tracks were originally created for a live set, actually rushed by a fear to fall short of fresh, new material and of not having anything new to play. “I didn’t want to bring the same live set as usual and this momentum pushed me to create new material. I was craving to play that live set because I love to connect with the public in that way.”

Drawing strength and inspiration from listening to Bonobo, Rival Consoles and admiring live concerts of Nils Frahm, while he envisions the evolution of his live shows beyond a mere music performance alone. ‘Dear Unrest’ is only a part of the journey of coming into his own. And it’s not over yet.
