Today we come to you with a lil special love nugget. This is a track we put together sometime ago and have been playing it in more intimate and cosy gatherings. It's our re-interpretation of a track called Goin' Bad from Soul Keita released on the marvellous Other People imprint back in 2010. Soul Keita is an artist we've been inspired by over the years and our curiosity has led us to really soak up every single piece he has released. Other than what remains of his music under this alias, he's been traceless for years.

Soul Keita - Goin' Bad feat Nico (Madota Dusty Edit)

'For the 23rd EP on Heimlich Musik, Franz Matthews collaborates with label veteran Johannes Klingebiel and Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist Semodi, delivering two original mixes accompanied with remixes by Random Atlas and Balam. "Signs" is the result of a spontaneous collaboration between Franz Matthews and Johannes Klingebiel which started after a few drinks and builds on instrumental recordings. A powerful bassline and melancholic pads are used to reflect the message of the vocals to welcome the unexpected signs of life in a positive way. Evolving from a long-lasting friendship with Semodi, "Law of Attraction" is an enchanting arrangement carried by a subtle guitar and vocals about rewiring your own behavioral patterns for a more fulfilling existence. Chilean duo Random Atlas pick up the bassline and main theme of "Signs" in their remix while their powerful signature disco sound is magnified by the use of additional drum elements, analog synth lines, and electric guitars. Balam recreates "Law of Attraction" as an ecstatic club track based on hypnotic drums while keeping the spirit of the original, rounding up the EP as a whole.'

"Boombia" is a tribute to the virtuosic Bollywood- and rough Cumbia Tracks, that the @twerkingclassheroes found in the deepest corners of their record crates and the last bits of their hard drives. The soundclash between this genres and a their trusty twerkaholic groove made the EP of this producer duo. 

The EP gets completed with 3 remixes by @iorie , @oh_why and @avemsdream , who bring this EP to the dancefloors of downtempo party nights.
