Hey folks...Hope everyone is well! So today I bring you "Session 62" of my "D3EP Lounge" show,which aired last night Tues (20/08/24) at 10pm BST on the mighty D3EP Radio Network. This one has stacks of gems from as far back as 2007 up to present day,and was very well recieved by the live audience..I certainly enjoyed doing this one..so I hope you enjoy it as much. As I didn't get a response to the question I put out on the last upload,I have uploaded this with the voiceover active..but again,i would like your opinions on whether you would prefer them as just a straight up mix? This 2-tracker contains a unbelievably deep signature remix by our man Shahrokh Dini, which is making waves already for a while now! Michael Marshelli convinces with a cosmic lush disco approach, giving the original’s smooth vocal the right treat.

The Düsseldorf duo BAR, consisting of Stabil Elite musician Lucas Croon and Christina Irrgang, released their debut album „Welcome To Bar“, a musical hybrid between New Wave, Balearic, Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Noir Songwriting, in June 2014 on Italic Recordings. Lucas Croon sings as if he had studied with Nick Cave, Brian Ferry and Chris Isaac. The lady at his side, Christina Irrgang, is no less elegant: Her timbre seems completely absorbed in the music, and yet it somehow floats above it, bold and cool. The effect is reminiscent of Claudia Brücken from the Düsseldorf synthpop band Propaganda, whose magical coldness was simply an extremely fascinating form of white soul.

"Welcome to BAR" is recorded, produced and emotionally arranged on various synthesizers, the drums, with film soundtrack samples, vocal collages and instruments such as the pocket piano, which Croon and Irrgang became aware of in Los Angeles through their acquaintance with Diva Dompé, the daughter of Bauhaus drummer Kevin Haskins. Passion can be felt in everything they say, sing and play. Passion for love, for nights in a neon glow, for dark pulsating bass lines, black and white romance, driving synth beats and the affectionately playful "À Rebours" – aestheticism with no objection to the natural.

Il y a un peu plus de 25 ans que l’histoire musicale de Franck a commencé. En 1991 il découvre la musique électronique. Pour lui c’est une révélation. Il goûte à la deep house, à la house tech, à la techno. Puis arrive la trance progressive. Nous sommes dans les années 2000 et Franck se décide à créer ses morceaux sur Cubase puis rencontre son Ami Lox D c'est le début d'une collaboration ou s'enchaine les sorties sur Beatport .puis collaboration avec Djyl , Depuis Franck fait danser les souliers de ceux qu’il croise en soirée.

Talented New York based Soul and Gospel house singer songwriter Aaron K Gray, who has been turning heads on the soulful scene with his distinctive voice, gets set to unleash his brilliant 2nd artist album, 'A Journey into House’. The album features a massive 17 songs spanning the colorful spectrum of Gospel, House and Afro, ripe with uplifting heartfelt vocals, spine tingling harmonies all set to a backdrop of top-class musicianship. 'A Journey into House’ features collaborations with a fine stable of producers including Mark Francis, Graham Knox Frazier, DJ Gomi, Marc Tasio, Junior White, Masakii Mori and many more. Aaron began his musical career at the age of just 7 years old as the lead singer in the church choir. Fast Forward to 2001, he released his first R&B album entitled ‘Body Rain’ to great acclaim. Aaron released his first house record ‘Wonder Why’ with Junior White and Tony Humpries on Tony Records in 2014 and has since had a flourishing career releasing songs such as ‘Hallelujah' with Graham Knox Frazier and Scott Wozniak, 'Funky Praise' with Giulio Bonaccio, ‘Thankful' with Graham Knox, 'When We All Pull Together' with Jeff Redd, Kenny Bobien, and CeCe Rogers, ‘Lead Me' with Date Night, among others. Aaron’s recent singles, which all are featured on the new album, include 'Resting Place' with Mark Francis, 'Ride Like The Wind' with Derrick Ricky Nelson, Giulio Bonaccio & Mark Di Meo on 'David Dance', 'Come By Here' with Marc Tasio and 'All I Need' with DJ GomiThis release also includes a full-length DJ mix by Baltimore House Legend Thommy Davis making ‘A Journey into House’ an absolutely unforgettable release!
