This song is a piece of my heart.
It’s about losing someone who shaped who I am…
my dad.
He passed away in 1999 — I was still so young.
And for 26 years I’ve carried him with me everywhere I go.

Some days I feel strong.
Some days I fall apart.
But every day… I try.
I try to live in a way that would make him proud.
I try to laugh louder, love deeper, and stand stronger — because he lived in me first.

I never got the chance to grow up with him beside me,
but I still feel him in the sky,
in the music,
in the quiet moments where I close my eyes and remember.

This isn’t a song of sadness…
It’s a song of love that never dies.
A connection that time can’t break,
that distance can’t touch,
that heaven could never take away.

I dance with him in every beat.
I speak to him in every melody.
His love didn’t end…
It just changed form.

This is for him.
This is for me.
This is for anyone who has ever lost someone —
but still loves them louder than the world can understand.

We don’t stop loving.
We just learn to love differently.
