It's my birthday and I happened to get across this composition just as today. Felt kinda bleak with no opportunities to really celebrate the event. So this is my celebration I guess!! And it was a party to make this one. :) Thanks to all you who have listened, supported and commented on my music. This song was written by one of Australia's greatest songwriters, Archie Roach, in 1990 and was included in his first album “Charcoal Lane”.   I have seen Archie live many times – he gives such great performances that I was a bit dubious about posting my own version of his song.   I justify the posting on two grounds: one, this is not one of Archie's best known songs, and, two, I have done this song many times in small venues.
