We all live in a world where we have instant access to the worlds most talented DJ&#8217;s now. But every decade or so you hear someone, and you know there is something else, something very special going on. I feel Marino is that someone&#8221; - Keith Reilly High praise indeed from the owner of Fabric London and a bold statement for Spanish DJ/Producer Marino Canal to live to up to. The sound engineering graduate&#8217;s impressive wax spinning skills had been witnessed at the 2013 Ibiza Music Summit and it wasn&#8217;t long before the White Island resident was tearing up the cavernous London basement with a set brimming with his own productions. Organic textures, hypnotism and melancholy feature heavily in Marino&#8217;s sound and are once again evident in the Percolate EP. As its name suggests, the title track bubbles with dancefloor tension whilst its tight groove never quite reaches boiling point. Can&#8217;t Feel, on the flip, is more of the same. Deep, atmospheric and understated, a perfect example of Marino&#8217;s blossom talent.

Sydney’s own Elroy is turning up the thermostat with his debut on Lee Foss’ iconic Repopulate Mars. The Elroy Hot EP is a three-track dancefloor weapon, and we’ve got the title cut ‘Hot’ on lock.

Elroy’s been making waves in the Aussie scene with his stripped-back, glitch-heavy tech house sound, winning support from big-hitters like Marco Carola, Patrick Topping, and Jamie Jones. From sweaty warehouse sessions in Sydney to high-energy sets at UNVRSE for Catch & Release, the guy knows how to work a room.

‘Hot’ is pure after-hours mischief, driven by a chunky low end, tight percussion, and vocal chops that land right in the sweet spot. It’s got that late-night bounce built for basements and rooftop sunrises alike. The rest of the Elroy Hot EP keeps the pressure high with ‘Shakin’ delivering warped synth lines and slick drum work, while ‘Feel The Bass’ dips into UKG-inspired grooves that tunnel deep into the mix.

This one’s a full-circle moment for Elroy, releasing on the label that first pulled him into tech house. Now he’s dropping heat for the same imprint, and trust us, it’s going to do damage.
