@vivrantmusic's second release of 2021 follows up on the first volume of the label’s new Commune VA series, which featured Swedish godfather of Techno Joel Mull, label boss @jeremyolander, German virtuoso Sascha Braemer as well as Viggo Dyst, Carl Dern and Lexer. The Stockholm-based label’s 26th release gives us the return of man of the hour Marino Canal in the form of the reimagined 'Vangelis Dreams' EP, Marino’s debut project on Vivrant, featuring remixes from Afterlife standout Coeus, legend in the game Dominik Eulberg and Danish up-and-comers Baime. 

First out the gates is @baimeofficial with their reinterpretation of lead track 'Vangelis Dreams'. While maintaining the mystic and tranquil nature of the original, the Danish duo, which has previous releases on Radikon, Watergate and Elements, adds an additional layer of sawtooth bass lines and paranormal FX, creating a grittier and more raw track perfectly fitting for the wee hours of the afters. 

Second in line is Coeus. A staple name in the record bags of Tale of Us, Solomun, Adriatique and Dixon, this Serbian standout has become synonymous with the next wave of Balkan producers. His style of atmospheric, sinister yet melodic productions are a hand-in-glove fit with the vocal elements in 'Calling Me Back', and his contribution brings a dimension of groove to the track and gives it a given spin towards the peak time of your set. 

Last but certainly not last; Dominik Eulberg. A true pioneer and veteran on the scene and an alumni of distinguished imprints in the likes of Cocoon, K7, Traum and Anjunadeep, Dominik has created an epic melodic journey of 'Lost Souls Seeking Comfort'. With a soothing atmosphere that's set to captivate and enchant dance floors and festivals in the summer to come and beyond, we're comfortable saying his remix is a future Vivrant classic.

Acid, Chicago and New York House, or the power of Belgian, Dutch or Detroit Techno, Brique Rouge has been churning out releases for 26 years without ever sinking into cynicism, nostalgia or parody. Open minded, Brique Rouge has established itself as a key French label for the distribution of emerging and creative artists already known or totally unknown, from all over the world, who draw their inspiration from the roots of the genre, but also pursue the search for new vibes. Without formating or commercial imperatives, the label keeps innovating and drop one release a week since 2020 on Bandcamp

David Duriez is known for making House and proper underground electronic music since the beginning of the 90's - 30 years in the music industry, founder and keeper of the [briquerouge] label, home of the best french electronic renegades since 1999, David Duriez is lurking in the shadow of the french Electronic scene, keeping it real and true. Artist in various styles of music, dj and innovator, he's always in search of new ways to distribute and value Electronic Music and always a step ahead. Definitely not just one for the hype.

Since 1994, David released over a hundred records under his name, tens under various pseudonyms, outputs mainly vinyl on the most renowned labels like 2020Vision, Ovum, Systematic, Pokerflat, F Communication, Mobilee, Under the Counter, Stickman, Classic Music Company, Crosstown Rebels, The End, etc .. (the list is long, see Discogs.com to be convinced) and as many remixes for some of the greatest (think Moby, DJ Hell, Telex, Random Factor, Johnny Fiasco, Paul Johnson, Kenny Hawkes or Mr.C).

Founder of the label Brique Rouge in 1999 and a whole galaxy of other labels, he participated in the creation of internationally recognized labels such as Robsoul, Freak n'Chic or Rz Muzik. David has carved out his own niche with his pigeonhole defying Brique Rouge label, and his helping to redefine underground electronic music. Brique Rouge has released deep house, jacking house, tech-house, acid house, vocal anthems and much more... Definitely a label for open-minded people, not stuck in one genre of House.

Its the modern times which makes it happen when you never met each other, but now you have a common release. Thats the story how Rafael Cerato and Marc DePulse met. Simply chatting about music and kidding: 'Why dont we make some music together?'. Exchanging ideas, project files and inspiration. And its quite the middle of both artists qualitys: Marcs melancholic harmonies, Rafaels peaktime beats. 

So 'AGORA' was born as the first of totally 5 tracks both guys produced together. Two interpretations wanted, the guys invited Denmarks rising star PETE OAK and Germanys newcomer HIDDEN EMPIRE who both did it their way. And they did it really fantastic!
