"The Perfumed Garden" is a tent and stage at The Beat Herder festival which is home to all manner of earthly and cosmic happenings, from gong baths, to dub to live electronica, psychedelia and more... I've been honoured to be invited to DJ for them at the festival in the past, and for their lockdown weekender this year. They are incredibly careful about who they choose as guest DJs and as such I've always tried to play in my way but hopefully to select music which encapsulates the vibe and ethos and will appeal to all involved even if House music isn't really something in which they generally get involved in.... I had a lot of fun playing and tried to represent a lot of the brand new Afro, Brazilian, Latin and Afro Cuban influenced releases that are inspiring me right now...I hope you enjoy listening! x
