Inspired by Amsterdams clubbing scene Arie J began mixing music in the mid 90's. 
His selection of music style varies through a specter of grandiloquent electronic music in assorted subgenres of House music, conveyed by Nudisco and indie Dance.

As a former resident at London based youbroadcastradio.london he has been in collab with talented Dj's and producers from around Europe like;

Influenced by the early electro funk/hip Hip scence in the early to mid 80's. And yes, did a little poppin/breakdance and beatbox. With a regular stream of mixtapes handed down, I became interested in the early sounds of rave and acid house, jungle, dub etc. So my current flavours vary and are eclectic.

Currently designing, collecting/playin/producing a blend of funk, soul, disco and deep house, and everything else that sounds nice and funky.

Reaching back to 88 when I first heard and experienced it in the clubs and underground parties of my native manchester, and looking forward to the future....it's more vibrant and relevant than ever!!!
 Strictly political, proud to be underground,trying to be true to my roots, tell my story as a jazz musician, crate digger and dj, pay my dues and spread the love.... This is house music....always more about 'us' than 'me'....it's not about popstars, it's about dancefloors.....humanity sharing positive energy TOGETHER.... as simple and yet as deep as it gets.....and subversive as fuck!

House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body.
And, as I told you before, this is our house and our house music.
And in every house, you understand, there is a keeper.
And, in this house, the keeper is Jack.
Now some of you who might wonder,
“Who is Jack, and what is it that Jack does?”
Jack is the one who gives you the power to jack your body!
Jack is the one who gives you the power to do the snake.
Jack is the one who gives you the key to the wiggly worm.
Jack is the one who learns you how to walk your body.
Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all Jackers together under one house.
You may be black, you may be white; you may be Jew or Gentile. It don’t make a difference in OUR House.
