Attitude Adjustment EP 38 Moody Moore ft. Jeff Freefall "Inward Sabbatical"

Hi, welcome to my little music blog!
It all started back in middle school. During breaks between classes we would send each other music on our phones with infrared and bluetooth. First it was all pop and rock music, but soon I found out about dubstep and drum and bass. It changed everything for me. I had many mp3 players and ipods full of music. I started going to raves and music festivals. I enjoyed some house, hiphop, techno and even psytrance. It's been a journey and after many years I am still so excited to hear new beats and melodies. I've been constantly reposting my favourite tunes for everyone to enjoy with me! Music just makes me so happy and I am glad if I can make you happy too! Besides partying I listen to music while at work, at home, on the streets or in gym. Basically all the time.
Most of all, I love drum and bass. Mainstream, liquid, rollers, jump up, neuro, jungle... you name it. I have dug deep into the world of drum and bass. This page probably has over 10,000 drum and bass tracks reposted by me that I really enjoyed. A few years ago, my friend invited me to a festival in Belgium, and I fell in love with heavy dubstep. After that, for 2 years straight, I was obsessed with it and even made another page for reposting. I found out about genres like riddim, wave, and trap. At one point I didn't want to know anything about it and deleted the page! Right now this is the only page I use. Maybe one day I will return to drum and bass, but lately I've been feeling crazy and reposting other stuff too. I love good music; I don't care what you call it, and I love to find inspiration in different genres.
For some time I was really into deep house. I love to shuffle (dance). I don't mind some bass house. Slap house? I love that. Club house, G-house, melodic house, electro house, progressive house, and yes, even tech house... whatever. I love house music!
I love big festival music like trap and hardstyle, but I also know what underground techno means. I love hardcore, and sometimes I love chillout.

She has been actively involved with the organisation of the event series "Need4Speed"(2004-2009) and for years before she founded Night Sirens (2014-present). Night Sirens is an nonprofit organisation where Kate's aim to support other female (mostly newcomer) djs.

I'm an American Drum & Bass producer & DJ. Releases on PTSM (NYC), Broken Trax (London), and my own imprints 
Inverse Recordings, and older vinyl & CD releases on M.A.D. BASS Recordings (99-04). 

Early on, in my most active years (1993 to 2004), I performed in the Midwest and North West with occasional tours and one-off events on the East & West coasts. In those years I played on line ups with many of the biggest names in Drum & Bass from the UK & US.

In 1998 I began M.A.D. Bass Recordings (Middle American Drum & Bass) with a friend and investor (Yeji Hong; Bellecore Productions, Boston MA) to release my own DnB tunes and those of the talent I thought had merit to be pressed in vinyl. Through M.A.D. Bass we released numerous vinyl 12" 45 singles and a CD LP. All releases were mastered by The Exchange in London. Artists that had releases on M.A.D. BASS included: 

Embee (Juice, Splash, Ganja, Eastside, Fuze)
KC (Symmetry, Human, Eat Brain).  
NoiseFloor (Propa/Impropa Talent). 

Other collaborative releases that appeared on M.A.D. BASS included: 
3vil G3nius, Troll, Mowgli, Mayday, Danny C, Brad Peterson (Moods & Grooves), and Digicide. 

Some of the pseudonyms I've produced tracks under are: MK2, ZeroSum, Dirty South, Kindred Spirit, Tryptech, Paradox, Ken2Keys, and Bootleg.

I've always been a fan of any kind of music - so long as it appeals to my ears. DnB is still my forte but I've decided to branch out and produce whatever I feel like whenever the idea hits me. Therefore in addition to the DnB I produce you will find some clips of slower tempo tunes I've produced and posted on this page.

A bona-fide drum n’ bass veteran, Moody Moore is a well-known fixture in the DC drum and bass scene. Hailing from Colorado, Moody began her life as a DJ 18 years ago. Within the first year of her career, her talents graced the decks at illustrious East Coast clubs like Nation and Sonar. More recently, she's performed at U Street Music Hall and Flash. She’s opened club nights alongside The Crystal Method, DJ Rap, Pendulum, Donald Glaude, Lenzman, Alix Perez and many more. She’s also a regular on the summer festival circuit and has played at Burning Man in Nevada and Starscape in Baltimore.

In the 2000s, Moody formed the Bansheez, the first all-female drum n’ bass crew in DC.  Alongside DJs Inna K, Skandalus, Sylkey, and Jungle Jessi – the collective smashed crowds at raves, clubs, house parties, and much more. During this period, Moody’s talents were regularly on display at Alchemy / A.L.I.A.S. at Nation almost every week. She won multiple DJ contests at Nation, establishing herself quickly as a serious fixture in DC drum and bass. Most of the Bansheez still DJ regularly to this day. 

In the mid-2000s, Moody moved to California and promoted and played events in Los Angeles, and San Diego, CA. 

Currently, Moody is proud to announce the release of her own website: MoodyMoore.com. The site’s mobile-friendly, and showcases the latest gigs, mixes, blogs, and images from Moody’s DJing exploits around the world. She also hosts Attitude Adjustment, a radio show that features the amazing talent in the DC metro area. It broadcasts monthly on differentdrumz.co.uk.
