Love the stage and intimate live performances. Before now I've always found recording a tedious process but have recently discovered a love of production.

...Native to South American rainforests, the diesel tree is a medium to large evergreen that bears egg-shaped fruit. It produces oil that has potential application as a biofuel.

Modestly hailing from sunny Darwen, Lancs, Gas, Match Boom! bring you a sound crafted by warlocks in the cauldron of Rock from a dimension ringing the bells of Brit Pop, Grunge and Punk.

Concentrating on live performance this five piece outfits presence pervades the soul; John Bartrupe and Mick Woods' guitars melt faces in a fashion not seen since the Germans opened the ark of the covenant, such is the power of their crunch and wail.
Switching from growly to melodic frontman Phil Clark leads the line, eschewing the bands philosophy that no, it's not okay that it's Monday morning, it's not okay that we're all slaves to an imaginary system and no, it is definitely not okay if you think it's all okay! We live in a world where Mr Blobby had a number one, remember that before you sleep....
Richard Ledshams bass drives through every song like a low riding monster truck drunk on funk, bringing the bounce by tickling places other bassists just can't reach.
Firing a frenzied barrage of beats that gives Red Bull wings, the magnificent maelstrom of Ste Brady's drums underpins the bands sound and drives it on like the fiery chariot of rock it is.

The Working Man are a five piece band that to class as one particular genre would be insulting. Merging elements of rock, metal, flamenco, prog, folk and more, these Blackburn lads put on a spectacular show that will please, shock, entertain, humour and tastefully insult a wide range of music fans. 

Fully formed at the start of 2015, The Working Man have, in a short time, crafted a set that showcases each member's musical prowess, as well as their showmanship. With costume changes, props and an enormous array of monstrous and melodic riffs, The Working Man are a band you won't be forgetting in a hurry. 

Within the last few months, the band has competed in and won a number of Battle of the Band competitions in the North West, even earning a slot at the prestigious Colne Rhythm & Blues Festival along the way. They are now fresh from their support slot at Blackburn's King George's Hall with punk legends UK Subs and look to gain more fans along the way at each upcoming gig.

Their debut album Lancashizer is available now and will no doubt cement their place as one of the most up and coming acts in the North of England.

They call him The Working Man, and he's the hardest man in Blackburn.
