Dark but groovy basslines are what defines the unique sound of @michaelkleinberlin.
Born in Frankfurt, the former techno capital of Germany, raised by the sounds of Cocoon and Robert Johnson, Michael quickly found his passion for gradually teasing and heavy grooves.

His releases reflect a wide range of sound from raw straightforward techno to groovy dubby sounds up to experimental and complex journeys through noises. Finding the "right" sound for the "right" moment is what makes Michael's production quality so multifaceted.

Michael is known for energetic and hypnotising sets that combine strong programming and mixing skills. 
His powerful manipulative mixing style sets him apart as an artist and a DJ creating something unique for the every moment with the "right" sound that puts the crowd into euphoria and sweat.

In later years he has remained active, constantly on the rise, forming part of labels such as Truncate, Be As One Imprint, CLR, Pure Sonik, ANAØH and RSPX. He has gained support by such artists as Chris Liebing, Truncate, Radio Slave, Ben Sims, The Advent, Mark Broom, Honey Dijon and DVS1. With these crisp and intoxicating tracks, Richards Jr has confirmed his status, both locally and internationally, and has successfully managed to showcase his unique style and strengths.strengths

"Past 3am local time, our options were scant, so we walked down one of the most hostile corridors in all of Europe, Barcelona’s Las Ramblas, rampant with some of the most terrifying creatures of the night. A quick right down some grim alleyway, and there it was — Moog. From the outside, nothing more than rotting stucco, a small congregation of degenerates and random gypsies selling cans of beer. We paid the fare for entrance, descended into the seizure inciting strobes, and ultimately discovered an acid haven that any techno fan would have crowned king"
