Power is the ignition point — the moment classical force is pulled into the present and rebuilt for the system. Inspired by the raw structure of Beethoven’s Ninth, this chapter transforms orchestral tension into a driving techno engine, locked at full pressure and designed to command the floor.

🎧 1. CHAPTER I — Power

Vegim returns to TMM Records with an album, not just as a producer, but as a cartographer of the unknown, mapping the thin magnetic boundary where human perception meets extraterrestrial intuition. This is Vegim at his most conceptual, yet also his most direct: a sonic hypothesis about first contact, delivered through tightly‑wound techno designed for both the club floor and the cosmic void.

Across the album, Vegim imagines the moment when humans and alien life finally face each other, not with fear, but with resonance. The tracks feel like coded messages, pulses of information transmitted across space, each one suggesting that rhythm is the universal language. Instead of dramatizing the encounter, he frames it as something natural, inevitable, almost peaceful. The music becomes the mediator, the translator, the bridge, while Magnetopause is essential for this meeting because it forms the natural threshold where two worlds finally align, allowing the signals to resonate on the same frequency.

The production is unmistakably his: sharp-edged percussion, gravitational low-end, and a sense of propulsion that feels like machinery waking up after centuries of silence. But there's also a new dimension here, a subtle melodic tension, a widening of space, a sense of awe. It's as if the EP is constantly scanning the horizon for signals, waiting for the reply.

Over the last 12 months, Amelie Lens has taken the techno world by storm. 

She's one of the brightest new talents on the circuit and barely a week goes by without a video of her laying down furious tracks reaches the internet.

She's now set to launch her own record label and if the first EP is anything to go by, we're excited to see what LENSKE has in store.

Farrago is responsible for the first release and there's also a track that he's made with Lens inside as well. Here we premiere Ostgut Ton favourite Kobosil's re-imagining of the lead track.

Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.
