On Therapy, his gripping third collection for Imprec, Alexandre Bazin creates concise melodic electro-acoustic environments with ripping timbres, deep staccato sequences and a dramatic immediacy. Elements of classical, minimal techno, modular-ambient and drone music permeate this aptly titled album, Therapy, from Alexandre Bazin.

Bazin himself describes this album as "new experimental electronic music." Melodic progression, pulse and timbre play key roles in his delicately crafted work. Saturation and feedback permeate the sonic atmosphere allowing new fragments to emerge creating new melodies and tonal colors.

Bazin's sound suggests the presence of electric guitars, orchestras and acoustic instruments which are also present on this album. All but the first two tracks of therapy include acoustic instruments carefully placed in the mix.

Manie Sans Délire is the collaborative DIY electronics project of June and Trenton Chase. Their sound is generated from synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers and effects units from the past. The group was established in early 2015 and their first, self-titled record was released on their own label -June Records- later on in the year.

Their debut LP (2017), also on June Records, takes cues from the ideas and concepts of their first record and expands them into new territories. 2017 will see Manie Sans Délire performing exclusively live, in the same way the tracks were originally recorded. Their lastest work is on Suction Records with a great remix for Digital Poodle and 2 tracks on the upcoming V/A Trap Configurations on their record label.

The fifth release in the sonic saga of San Francisco's electric noise factory Squirrels On Film is the first solo EP from label co-founder C.l.a.w.s., and his first solo release since 2017's “Stygian Morass” on Left Hand Path. His distinctive, idiosyncratic take on Techno has found its way onto the Various Squirrels, and as half of Kit 'n C.l.a.w.s with Joshua Kit Clayton, but  “Splat City” is his party, and you're invited. 
        The dance begins with “Into The Eyes Of The Zombie Queen,” its Liquid Sky cold-wave disco throb complete with laser zaps, Simmon's tom fills and drunk punk Moroder bass. This is C.l.a.w.s. in full-on Fun Mode, so feel free to break out the party favors. “Pacific Fog Authority” escalates the mirror-ball Goth Drama to delightfully inappropriate crescendos. “Slug Bait” gets a bit tougher, the motorik, leather-bar shuffle exploding in ecstatic strobe light seizures . “Splat City” keeps things heavy and depraved, a sleazy nightmare smoke-machine Strip Anthem.
        Your next late-night Cosmic Adventure has a perfect soundtrack.
